Makes you wonder where to move any savings with B&B to!!!

None of them seem safe at the moment so if B&B do 'go under' will we be top of the FSA list for sorting things out, rather than further down if the place we move to goes down later!?
I'm stressed enough over this - please don't add to it.

Interesting way of looking at it...

    This £35k FSA thing???

I assume it is a govenment handout, from the govenment budget????

What happens when the govenment go bust, are we talking mega inflation coming?

The FSCS is comprised of monies levied on participating members, ie banks, insurance companies, etc. If the scheme was to sink due to the weight of any potential claim on its funds, then the government could intervene.

Bradford and Bingley shares down another 9% today alone to only 55 pence. The future looks grim for them

shares down to 49p, are they worth a punt or steer well clear, should I also be concerned that I have over 35k in savings with them? or is it scaremongering

Stavros, you should be concerned to have over £35k savings with them. B&B is in a mess of NR proportions.
