Does anyone know more about what happens if you don't take up the offer? I know you can sell the rights although not sure how you would do this. But what if you do nothing? I saw something about letting the rights lapse and the company still pays you something. Can anyone shed any light on this?

And they also don't want to pay an interim dividend in October but issue more shares, further diluting value/share.

True, earlier in day i read that shares had shot up on Barclays bid speculation, i had something in post re EGM, not read it completely saw a snippet which seems to indicate that their is a proposal to give out more shares instead of the 2008 interim dividend. :eek:
