My dad said about his Northern Rock shares - when they were trading at around £2... "can't afford to sell now.. they are worth so much more".

Doesn't anyone else find it strange when banks come asking shareholders for money ... but not for expansion / acquisition ... but merely to keep trading / liquidity. ?

I am glad that I sold mine.

The shares used to be about £5, now they're more like £1! And you say nothing's wrong:eek: They need to go up about 400% to get back where they were. These will be penny shares soon enough.
