This was the thread:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....html?t=822299
It gives 'invalid' if you click it.
I have sent an email asking why it has been removed?
Surely it would not have been removed because of threats by NPower???
There are other threads that refer to NPower scams, but this scam on overcharging for tier 1 units is in the same league as the Banks charges(that Martin has campaigned against so earnestly) and arguably far more serious.
Perhaps we should all ask for an explanation!!!!0 -
NPower Sculpting was very topical and given that The Times is about to do an article on it, and NPower have systematically abused their contract, I would have thought it very relevant for the readers of this website?
I have already emailed too, to ask where it has gone!0 -
I notice that all our posts in our own accounts have also been deleted, along with all the 'Thanks'. DirectDebacle deserved every single one of those for all the work and effort he put in. I hope this is not a case of censorship!0

And of course you too Cardew :T0

Welcome back Anne and Cardew. Totally confuddled about the other thread. There was so much information on there which a lot of people had taken so much of their time and trouble to find out and share with others. Ah well, maybe it will re-appear.
Quick update. The Times story isn't dead. Was out yeaterday when reporter phoned. Will call back later today. Reason I was out? Posting papers to the county court tee hee.0 -
And of course you too Cardew :T
This one is Direct Debacle's baby!
We are just in a supporting role.
Rumour has it that NPower are not going to offer him a job!
P.S.
I hope he has 'his day in court' but I am pretty certain that he will be offered a 'without prejudice' settlement to prevent a precedent being established. If they do he should demand a couple of grand for emotional stress and expenses!0 -

Also, I have moved house this week, and that "old account" is being closed down and a new account started at the new property. The old account is about £400 in debit according to NPower, for gas and electric, but they haven't issued a final bill yet. How do I work out what I have been overcharged once I get it, I am confused over all this!!
If you didn't take readings of your gas and electricity meters when you moved in make sure you do asap and give them immediately to your supplier. If you did, next time you contact npower check with them to make sure they have the correct readings. There is a tendency to put wildly wrong estimates on the bills.
Sometimes I take a photograph of the meter reading with a copy of the days newspaper held up to it. Stops anyone asserting the meter reading was taken before the date on the newspaper. Maybe I am getting paranoid.0 -
Mary, according to your figures, you have been charged 3,306 kwh at the higher rate for 6.5 months.
Npower's document states that for July - Dec (5 months) you will be charged 2,407 kwh That is 5,713 kwh for 11.5 months.0 -
Spinning Sheep. Your figures add up to 5,802 and your year is not up. See what we mean?0

DirectDebacle. As you can see there are those of us out here who are not taking "Invalid Thread" for an answer. It is good to see that we have hopped on to this thread. Am I being paranoid or do I detect that Npower are getting to people.0
