Do you know of an ISA that will allow part transfers?

Hello everyone

The bulk of my savings are in an Icesave ISA and I want to make part transfers to my Britannia and Yorkshire ISAs, however, Icesave do not allow part transfers.

I would like to transfer my Icesave ISA to an organisation that will allow part transfers to my other ISAs.

I'm looking for an ISA which will allow part transfers and has a Bank of England base rate guarantee.

Any ideas?

Many thanks for your reply. Yeh an ISA that has a guarantee something like "guaranteed to be at least 0.30% above Bank of England base rate until xx/xx/20xx".

Most on here ( including me) would say that 0.30% above base rate was a rubbish ISA rate. ;) if i was u i would stay with icesave for the time being. ;)

if u are desperate to transfer out then Nationwides 6.15% One and Two year fix has to be worth considering.

Where does it say you cant make part transfers with Icesave ISA? I have asked for a part transfer and was wondering why this has not been done as yet?

Would appreciate any advice on this.

National Counties will, they are a very helpful Building Society :)https://www.ncbs.co.uk

Most Banks and BS's only allow part transfers if they are part of previous years subscription. i.e. not money that has been deposited this tax year.

I sent Icesave a form requesting a part transfer from Icesave to Yorkshire and heard nothing so I e-mailed them asking when my request would be processed and they replied saying unable to accept part transfers.

The money I wish to transfer to my Yorkshire and Britannia ISAs does not include any of the current tax year's subscription.

Well I just transferred a part transfer from NCBS. Icesave said so long as the feeding account allows part transfers out then they will allow them to come in. Although there isn't a space on the form you can make the point clear - I wrote on the form stating my request and rang up to confirm. Once Icesave had finally managed to send the form to the correct address it was all done within a week :)

    Guaranteed Cash ISA 2008/09 6.26%

    Website says:
Transfer from another ISA provider accepted from 6 April 2009

So it would appear I cannot transfer my Icesave ISA to this ISA until after 6 April 2009.

    Hi muddyfox470

Thanks for your help. You're talking about part transfer from BCBS to Icesave. I wanted to part transfer from Icesave to Yorkshire BS and Britannia BS, which Icesave apparently cannot do.
