Can I accept an offer on eBay without waiting for auction to end?

Tommyjoeybirchie, thanks - this might be a practical way to do it…so just to be clear, once someone bids (eg £80), is there an option somewhere to end early & sell to the highest bidder? That way I could close the deal within the eBay system

you cant end early to sell to a current bidder on your item
you can end early for various reason , damage , no longer for sale etc

But then you will have to complete transaction outside of the ebay world, wether its to a bidder or not

How to end your listing early:

3. Choose the reason you're ending your listing early.
4. Your listing will end and will no longer be displayed on eBay. If there were bidders, they will be emailed that their bid was cancelled and the listing ended early.

OK, I think the OP has enough advice now so I'll close this.

Can I please just remind all users firstly to be nice to other money savers, and also that deliberately setting out to recommend scams or ways to break the rules is not allowed on MSE.
