Bulldog activation charge refund
lichung
I have canceled bulldog broadband service within 7 days of ordering and moved to a new address. I have requested activation charge refund since 2006 and everytime when I call up customer service they told me that the cheque was sent to my new address. But I have received nothing in my mailbox in this one year and a half and I really don't know what to do next.

Call them back? They'll be the only people who can issue you a cheque.0

the thing is,
I have called them many many times and they have sent 5/6 cheques i guess. but it never turns up in my mailbox.........it's like a paradox0 -
You could take a hard line with them. (If they are in England or Wales, and you can find their address)
Send a letter before action giving them 7 days to pay or else you will take legal action.
If they ignore you, issue a county court summons via money claim online.0 -

thank you for your advise! could I just send off an email to their complaint dept instead? and should I mention anything about money claim online in the letter or just simply say legal action?
and this is where I should go to issue the summon after the notice period right?0 -

Emailing is both a waste of your time & theirs. Send them a letter, recorded mail to their head office.0 -

You need to send a letter before action.
"legal action" will do.
