NETS ARE A MUST!!!
Not fishnets - as in stockings (well, yes they are a must
but not in this sense).
Unless you want people seeing you in all your glory (and this can mean men  as well as women before you get all excited) window nets are a must.

Can I suggest STOPPING until you get the flat...that way you will know what you NEED with the particular flat! Have a window shop and then enjoy buying for the particular space maybe?!! Sorry to be the voice f reason but I am worried that you are buying blind (possibly a bloke thing!) rather than the actual space you will ive in! Enjoy the chicken lesson!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

If people want to stare at me in all my glory then who am I to stop them. If blokes do it they're only going to feel inferior to me.

Nets aren't very 'bachelor' though are they? :undecided0 -

Well I think I'm only buying stuff I will need! :undecided
Aren't I? :rotfl:
I'm not gonna buy furniture or anything until I know what space I've got to play with but all the rest is pretty basic essential needs I think. :think:0 -

umm. No?!! I've been half chucckling and half worried as I read the thread SS!! Be honest & look at what you need rather than what youre getting!! I've lived in my flat for nearly a decade and absolutely nothing in it cost more than £300 and that includes my laptop... Look at your siggy. Be sensible and remember happiness is a roof over your head, people you love, home made bread and BEING DEBT FREE!! Youve done so well so far to do so well so quickly - I'm just worried that that old "must have it" way of spending is creeping back in and your fabulous debt free goal is rapidly on the way out the door....Dont want to spoil your fun but also dont want you regretting getting stuff you really dont need and wont appreciate because you got it all too soon! After all thats how most of us ended up with such ridiculous debts in the first place isnt it
