    What a day.

Had hoped to get the bathroom cleaned today. It didn't happen.

    But did:
    • One load of washing - hung out, got in and now on the airer;
    • One load in the DW
    • Worked 8 - 4
    • Took DS4 up town to buy some football boots and shin pads (decided he wants to play again after having two years off!!)
    • Took DS4 to practice and picked him up again an hour later
    • DS3 came home from his kayaking trip - tons of washing to do
    • Cleaned up dog sick . . ewwwww
Now off to put washing on, and off to bed.

Sorry I haven't kept up with everyones posts :(

raph I find Sainsburys cheaper than Morrisons, their value ranges (basics)are close to the price if not the same as Tesco/Asda etc they also do a lot of bogof/half price etc offers.

((hugs)) for Denise, sounds like one of 'those days' hope you get a good nights sleep and tomorrow is a better day

Michelle, my boys have always had 'tents' over their cots ad baskets, they still like it now. Little Matthew prefers to actually have the blanket physically over his face, he has a little cloth toy which he puts over his face when he's going to sleep. Get funny looks off passers by who must think you're trying to suffocate him. Great news that it's working with little Sam and helping him sleep better.

So far this morning I have -

Dressed boys, made packed lunch got them to school (walked DS2 and DS1 in taxi)
Hung washer load out I put in last night
Brekkie stuff put away and dirty stuff in DW (apart from a dish I just spotted)
Gathered up darks so far and put them in machine (needs a few more for load)
    Walked dogs
Half killed myself going back on the bike for half an hour (Ouch Ouch Ouchhhhh!!)

    Left to do
Level 2 at least of todays list
    1 hour study time
    [STRIKE] Transfer money between accounts
    Emails and freecycle stuff [/STRIKE]
Clean pans off last nights chilli/rice
Finish cleaning BBQ grills which I soaked again last night
    S&S bathroom and kitchen
    Vacuum through downstairs
Sort club accounts and cash box etc
    Help DP at club tonight
One day I might be more organised...........

I've got an ant infestation in my kitchen. DS shouted out this morning 'Mummy, the fruit bowl is full of ants', and was horrified! Anyway, figured out they're coming in under the door, so put a line of Cayenne Pepper along the inside of it, having read somewhere on OS that ants won't cross Cayenne Pepper. This turned out to be rubbish, as I've got even more ants, and they're running backwards and forwards across the cayenne pepper line without a care in the world!!

Off to meet Sis-I-L for lunch shortly - haven't seen her for ages so will be nice to catch up. Must then go and buy highly chemical ant killer stuff on way back.

    Hope everyone's having a good day x

cmathews, I usually bypass the OS ways when it comes to pests!! Cheap ant powder usually does the trick.

Phone calls galore this morning, sorted little one coming to swimming and sorted picking keys etc up as I need to run it this week. Been asked to attend a conference for a parents forum for children with disabilities which should be interesting, free lunch and it's at a posh hall place so that'll be nice :D just waiting for the booking form via email (an excuse to sit on my bum! on a cushion of course)

Speaking of which I did say I would include a photo of Matthew, for those who are newbies he's my friend's little one who had to have major surgery when he was little, given 25% chance of pulling through as he was so poorly, wouldn't think it now, he's got a right little attitude, he does what he wants when he wants :rotfl:
    DSCF1461.jpg

Have done some transfers between accounts, the pin number they sent for my new account when I scratched the panel off was blank  phoned them, they know there was an error so waiting for another new one.
One day I might be more organised...........
