Been a strange day. The joiner still has not been so will see what happens tomorrow. Im on holiday this week but work rang me at 4pm to see if I would do a shift overnight at the hospital as a client had been admitted. So got myself sorted and on the way called to see GS1 . Was very shocked at the state of him and we had a bit chat. His face is a mess and he hasnt been out for three days. Told him he needed to get himself sorted or it could be a lot worse next time. Got to Hospital at 7.30 and client still in A&E. Anyway even though he has a viral infection they have sent him home. I know they dont like keeping them in if they are likely to be disruptive. So here I am back home.

    Hugs to everyone.

    *looks a bit sheepish*

Woke up feeling utterly down - so spent most of the day trying to pull myself out of it...

Suzie - I have my little people are 7/5 & 3 - the youngest is in at nursery 2 full days a week so I try and make the most of those days - she only naps in the car now  Only now have I even contemplated being interested in trying to keep the house tidy

Back later with some jobs done - hopefully ;)

Sorry you've not been feeling great today CB ((hugs)) hope tomorrow is a better day. I know how hard it is to get going, I seem to be have those kind of days quite often just lately, so I totally sympathise.

As regards the LOs, I've been trying to retrain my thoughts, as it's always really gotten to me that I struggle to keep on top of the housework. I don't want to ever look back and regret missing out on my DD's precious early years because I was too busy stressing over dirty laundry and dusting, y'know? Having said that, I wish I could be one of those that seems to be able to achieve both, effortlessly! (A friend of mine is just like that, and boy do I envy her!)
If you have good thoughts, they'll shine out of your face like sunbeams & you'll always look lovely.

I manage more now than I did when we had 2 babies at the same time!

See I think this is half my problem - Elise is at pre-school 3 afternoons a week, and I don't know if she's a particularly demanding LO (I know she has a short attention span), but I really struggle to get much done with her here, as well as Keira (5mths) who only naps for half hour at a time  . So then I just don't bother :rotfl:

    Hey everyone!!!

Looks like you've all had a productive day.

I've worked my way through PigPens list and have also done the hall and stairs including washing down wood work as my HH and S&S everywhere else.

So I think I have really earn my glass of wine.

Went to dentist with Ds today and lucky he no longer needs his brace, so I dont have to pay for a replacement :j . Though DS now thnk that this means I have spare money for him to spend as he likes:rotfl: :rotfl: If only, it just mean I'm not any further in debt.

I'm quite pleased with that as gardening all day. And a personal best time of 50 minutes.

Tomorrow and Wednesday I''m doing supply, so a bit of child labour will be needed to get the livingroom back in order. Why am I the only person in the house who can put papers in recycling, sweet wrappers etc in the bin, and shoes in the cupboard???

Hugs to all who need one, see you tomorrow!
