Thanks Coupon-mad. I am still new to MOC, can we use MOC in Waitrose without buying the product?
Are there any max amount, e.g. 20% of total shopping. Does it restrict to any partical type of store?
Yes you can use coupons without buying the product in Waitrose, their CS have confirmed this in emails to posters on MSE before now. But the limit in each Waitrose is down to the Store Manager and they will only accept coupons for products that store actually stock. They may even run around the store with the coupons, checking for each item before allowing you to use them - their Supervisors can be very careful on this point!
So a bigger store may the a better bet as they are more likely to stock the products & not make such a song & dance of checking. In my local Waitrose they only allow 3 coupons per transaction but the 3 can be duplicates. It's a good way of using up short-dated coupons for me.
And the staff are so polite (even if they do look at you as if you have 2 heads when you hand over the 3 coupons and pay the 10p balance, lol!). I think they are more used to their high-spending customers than us coupon-clippers but it makes a nice change from some of the rude sour-faced old bags on the tills at Tesco.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Thank you for your recent enquiry.
I can confirm that Safeway policy regarding the acceptance of coupons, including Internet coupons, is as follows.
We accept valid date suppliers’ coupons for the purpose of merchandise, provided, that Safeway offer product from the named supplier.
A customer may redeem no more than six identical coupons from one supplier, unless he or she is actually purchasing the named product in quantities in excess of 6.
Coupons are not exchanged for cash. The total value of coupons redeemed must not exceed the value of the bill.
I trust that this information is helpful to you. Thank you for taking the time to contact us.
Kind regards
Hayley

I think the Co-op believe coupons are the work of the devil, lol!:rotfl:
The only time I used one in there was last month, I bought a copy of the Sun (for the coupons in it of course) and handed over my 10p off the Sun coupon. The SA spent a full minute scrutinising the coupon, reading out loud the date and t&cs on it & checking I had bought the right paper (it's the only thing I had bought!).
Then he called for Supervisor cos he didn't know how to enter it on the till. Supervisor then went through he same rigmarole whilst the queue behind me sighed & tutted. Finally I was allowed my 10p off... :rolleyes:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I shopped at my local tesco yesterday and went through the self service tills. It wouldn't let me use any of my internet coupons :-(. Does Tesco take internet coupons if I go to a SA?
Kind regards

Ahhh the answer that will come with this question!!!
Some people say yes they do some people will tell you they don't. If you call customer services the answer will be it's at the discretion of the Store Manager. Your best bet is to go and ask at customer services and ask what the manager allows.
Sorry i can't be more helpful.0
