Well, I view it as - enjoy it while it lasts! It's a bit like the old R&R at Tesco - just make the most of it, cos it ain't gonna be around forever, I suspect!

Hope josie doesn't mind me answering this. R&R was the Tesco policy to compensate any overcharge - before the current 'double the difference' policy.

R&R was better (it stood for refund and retain). It meant if you were overcharged by even one penny you could go to CS, point it out (quite probably have an argument on your hands & possibly have to phone up Dundee) but finally you SHOULD have been allowed a full refund on the offending item which you could then keep for free.

In the R&R years my haul was nothing compared with some people, but I was happy to blag one free xbox360 and one free PS2, also a CD player, tons of games & DVDs and shedloads of food & drink products for free.

Didn't make me very popular in some stores for a while but they've got new staff now who only know me as a couponer, which is easier!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

R&R only finished in Feb 2007 so just over a year ago, so no you are not too young!, just not as informed unfortunately, it was a great time, good fun and very profitable but we wont go down that track again!

Back on thread, anyone else getting desparate for some decent higher value MOCs?, really could do with another huggies lot or magazine week to repeat soon. Im fed up with handing over all 20 and 40p coupons, it takes forever to get them scanned!

I know what you mena. I dont use the ss tills I find it much easier and quicker to go to the young bored looking sa as the ss machines are set to beep at even one coupon in my store. Not having much luck these days with much coupons only seem to manage £10 worth and the tesco I use isnt exactly round the corner.

An hour putting your shopping through my goodnes im surprised someone didnt notice you doing that, bet you were popular with the folks behind you :rotfl:

It was funny thou as once x amount of vouchers go thro they then have to enter them or override the system, they have to smile and be polite, even thou it was throu gritted teeth.

Trouble is there doesnt seem to be that vouchers around. I want to pay for my orient express trip, weve got xmas dinner out covered, x
