I was after an update as to whether Tescos, at Chesterfield Road, Mansfield are taking coupons again, as I wanting to shop there this weekend.

    Can anyone confirm please?

The only thing I can think of is that there was one coupon that wouldn't print one time, and said that either it wouldn't work with my computer or just wouldn't print- i complained and asked if they could send me it via post as it wouldn't print, which they did, and i can only assume they've kept my details. The only thing I can think of, but definately not complaining haha. :D

Hope I'm not being too naive here but what info do we put in the details when using the coupon. Can you keep on putting your genuine info every time safely or do you put in 'other' members of your family on subsequent uses or fictitious info each time (Surely the last option is fraud)?
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

I only fill one in, leave the rest of the coupons blank - never had a prob with them being accepted.

I never fill any of them in and have never been asked to, so leave them blank and see how you go.

I wanted to thank members who advised me that Chesterfield Rd Store at Mansfield is accepting coupons again. I received an email from Tesco’s Customer Services today regarding coupon policy. I thought members would be interested in it content. I hope I don’t have to quote it in store!

    Thank you for your email.

I have detailed below some information on the acceptance of coupons in our stores which I hope will help you.

All Tesco specific coupons display the Tesco logo. We'll only accept these at the till if you buy the product shown on the coupon at the time.

We're happy to accept a non-Tesco product coupon even if you don't buy the item. But, the coupon must be in date and Tesco must sell the product. If you present more than one identical coupon you need to purchase the same number of products. This also includes coupons printed from the Internet, but these will only be accepted at the discretion of the Store Manager.

I hope this has helped to explain things for you.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us at customer.service@tesco.co.uk quoting TES5245360X.

    Kind Regards

I got exactly the same email, but this week had problems - store said definately cannot use coupons for non-purchased items. Showed them TCS email and they almost accused me of fraud and abusing the system.

The store called TCS who advised that acceptance was totally at store manager's discretion.

Was in a different store today, was queried about whether I'd bought items, said no, and was refused. Spoke to the store manager who had never ever heard of the non-purchase policy. She called TCS and was told, yes, policy as above.

Go figure. Maybe there is confusion within TCS?
