I was in Tesco tonight where I have used B/W magazine internet coupons before at the self scan and tonight it would not take it, the young supervisor said it was because it was a photocopy, I said it was just printed out in b/w and I had used them before and not had a problem, he said this had just been flagged up. I told him I would just get them printed in colour and he said it wouldn't matter because they are on ordinary paper and I would be better to get them sent out to me.
I am going to try again with colour ones as I want a cheap mag and bag (Eve).
    FiFi :)

    1st post! yay! lol

does anyone know if it matters if you print out the vouchers in black ink? ive just printed loads out and now worried they are going to think ive photocopied them! lol
i havnt got any colour ink and cant afford any! eek!

    Hi,

strange, but I always print out mine in black and white without any problems. just make sure the barcode is printed clearly, ie no wavy lines or horizontal gaps along the lines which can happen if you 'quickprint.'

As Mr T's can vary it seems, depending on the staff, as well as the branch
I'd try it in b/w first, and see how you go.

The only problem I encountered was where a young sales assistant saw one that had miraculously printed on both sides! Both she and the male supervisor assistant held it up to the light as if it were Moondust:rotfl:

The 20 pence one is not to be used in Tesco (says so in large lettering!).

And I don't think PigsBack will dip their toes into the Couponing Water again in a hurry. They made a big mistake in allowing unrestricted printables (which wasn't their intention) and they have had to remove them.

Some people on www.paidtoshop.co.uk have received an email from Pigsback accusing them of abusing the coupons by using lots. Easy to spot those people as their coupons had ID details on them.

Having said that, I don't personally agree there was any abuse, the coupons said 'one per transaction' and that's what people would have been doing (albeit lots and lots of times, lol!), with Tesco's agreement. I think Pigsback have learnt the hard way about Tesco coupon policy.
