Just for info purposes, mine arrived this morning - boxed and with charger but no memory card. HTH0

For nearly two hours I was tearing my hair out with this phone trying to unlock it. Tried it with the SIM in, with the SIM out. Tried it with different box serials.
But every time I put the #pw+...# in, NOTHING HAPPENED!!!
Trawled through millions of web pages for others with the same problem, and although people had compained of it happening to them, nobody had a solution.
Eventually gave up and ranted at my 12yo son, then had to go for a walk to release some tension! When I got back, he was sitting there with a smug expression on his face. He thought he would try putting a T-Mobile SIM in, and lo-and-behold, it worked! Grrrrrr!!!
I have no idea now whether the phone was already unlocked when it arrived, or whether I unlocked it but the phone just did not give me any confirmation
Still ... Thought I would post about it on the off-chance that it might help someone else who has bought one ... Good luck with it :rotfl:0 -
Nokia 6230's certainly accept 1GB MMC cards.
I bought my son a card that size last Christmas and he's been using it without probs.

I think it's the brand of the card rather than the size that may cause compatibility issues.0

i think it was just the early 6230s that had problems with the bigger mem cards, but you can get the later s/w put on to sort it0

I tried my Orange sim card in it last night and it worked fine so it must come pre-unlocked.0 -
Mine arrived this morning and worked without unlocking with a Virgin SIM card.
The outside has a couple of very minor scratches on it and the battery is scratched as well but it seems to work OK.
Just the phone, charger, manual and a new SIM in the box no MMC card so I ordered one from EBuyer:
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=87633
The reviews for the card seem to indicate that most people buying this card are using it in 6230/6230i Nokia phones.
I also ordered a headphone adapter and data cable from this company:

Thanks
