miss*whisper have u tried some of the Sally Hansen nailcare items?(available from Boots or poundland lol)

Their diamond strength stuff is really good and they've got anti-nail biting solution etc (which was recently BOGOHP in Boots and also alot of it seems to be in clearance - store dependent of course!)

I've also found avon's nail care range to be good for strengthening nails. HTH

PS miss*whisper, the buffer I'm talking about is a leather or suede covered pad type, not the abrasive type buffers.

I can't find the Carnation nail buffing paste on .com so I could just be showing my age and they may not make it any more :rotfl:
It was a small pot of a pink paste than you rubbed into your nails then rinsed off and buffed afterwards.

I have had a fab shop today I think the best one I have had so far.

I did write a list before I went with all prices so I knew how much I should be paying at the end and found this really helped ( esp at querying TS shampoo)

HERE GOES: I got
2 x No7 lip and eye screens
1 x Hand Saviour
1 Ladies GWP
1 x Olay total effects hand cream
1 x Olay cleanser
1 x pantene time renewal shampoo
1 x pantene time renewal conditioner
1 x TS long curly shampoo
1 x TS long curly conditioner
1 x pack of pampers easy up pants


Vouchers I used
200points on No7 tanning from mag
350 points No7 points on bathing from ACM
600 points on Olay total effects from PC
free cleanser/wipes on Olay TE from PC
£5 off Olay TE from PC
free TS conditioner from PC
free TS long from ACM ( had trouble with this one see below)
2 x £2 off easy ups from PC
£.75 off easy ups from PC
£2 off patene from PC
200 points on pantene

Also had 200pts for Pantene time renewal ( the only reason I got the time renewal would have gone for something else really:mad: ) but till would not accept ~ didn't want to push my luck so just took it back.


I spent a total of £14.49 and gained 1394 points


I then bought with my points ( from above transaction)
2 x lip and eye screen
2 x curly locks
male GWP
for 1150 points

I am all vouchered out now............. only got a couple left so no more cheapy shops for me.:(

Anyone else been having these problems...what has everyone been getting when both vouchers go through fine ??

Hadn't thought about buffing them tbh! Will have a look see tomorrow and also get a clear nail polish too

I used the TS ACM voucher on Friday and it beeped.Was the only one I used so nothing to do with you having millions of vouchers!
The Sa said they had problems since the changeover and she was unable to override it .She asked a supervisor but eventually had to phone a manager for a code and it then went through.

Happy Birthday GlidergirlUk - its my birthday today as well! DH and son have planned busy day for me - no trips to Boots for me. Got some money for my birthday so will definately be Bootsing tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks elisamoose, I thought someone had reported an 'issue' with the voucher...but then I thought it had gone ok...wishfull thinking on my part:p
