Wow, since 26th April you guys have been through 5 threads already

    I last came here 24th April, i was still on `part 20!` :D

No!! 17-4 it was part 23 that began, 27-4 began part 24. Now part 25 began 9-May.

But you are absolutely right, it is very fast now.

I joined early last year and remember that a thread would last as long as the offers were on. Once they changed (about every 4 weeks??) crazyposhgal started a fresh thread. Now it is taking about 2 weeks to start a new one... It is quite frustrating to try to read everything really, especially since many post don't add anything new (mea culpa!! here) just re-runs of the same offers. And most of our veterans have left this thread and are barely seen nowadays. It's a shame really.

    Back to the topic:

Anyone know if the Arden offer of points and GWP is also available in store?

I reported that there was a BOGOHP offer on FCUK but I must have misread the sign and the last time I checked there was not offer on, so the magazine coupon should be enough.

Thansk to those of reported there was indeed a gradual tan range in TD!! I remembered that but was not able to find it. It was cheap also, so almost free. And it would have come in handy now my local stores seem to have run out of hand cream this last week.

PS: Looking forward to reading your sucess with the Model.me coupons from the Express. Don't forget to stock up on Express today since the offer is until June.. If there were a 241 offer on, we might actually be able to get 2 free products. But 341 would still be great!! I really hope it does!! Can anyone recommend any product from this range?

edit: good news, mrsT reports that it is going through as 341 with the voucher!! Great!!

Hiya - I just wondered if any you Bootser beauty experts knew if there was a foundation like MF Colour Adapt that has an SPF in it. Colour Adapt is the only foundation I've liked in about 12 bottles of different foundations I've tried recently, but hasn't got sun protection  .
It just glides on with a powdery feel (ooh - get her :p ) and feels 'dry' and smooth straight away rather than sticky and thick and greasy. I love it but don't want wrinkles. Any ideas ?icon7.gif x

I also got the sample of colour adapt - apparently it's the best MF foundation but you're right - 80% of ALL wrinkles, sagging skin, age spots and general 'oldness' of the skin comes from the sun. I love the colour adapt so I get around this by using a moisturiser with SPF (City Block by clinique is very highly recommended as it contains antioxidants as well) and a tinted moisturiser with SPF on top of that, under the colour adapt. The advantage of this is that it adds a bit more coverage as colour adapt is quite sheer. Obviously you don't have to use both if you have less dry skin, but it gets around the problem of no SPF :)

    Hope that helps :)

Visited Brent X today and managed to use the till split unfortunatley not on the planned TD hand and nail cream.

So got TD Rejuvenating Day Moisturiser SPF15 £9 (down to £4 with till split)
Pantene Gift Box reduced from 9.99 to 2.50!
Total £6.50. Plus got another till split back.

I had looked for the Pantene Box before as I saw it posted on here that a fellow bootser got it reduced but when I looked then it was full price. It was quite discretely marked as reduced on the normal shelf.
Did a good look for a clearance shelf which no longer exists there. I left about 6 pantene boxes (was soooo tempted to get more!).

I started the year by spending £120 worth of points in the 75% off sale. It really broke my heart to part with all those points but I set myself a target. I wanted to gain £100 worth of points by Xmas so I could get a pair of GHDs for myself. As of today I have £72 worth  Thanks to all the boots tarts for pointing me in the right direction for more points.

Hi, well done on getting so far with your points, but I thought you could only buy GHDs online and therefore not use points? Or do some shops sell them?

Concerning this offer as posted by quoia and nudge at the newspaper thread:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=907461

The voucher says Model.Me specifically, so not generic TG.

It is valid until the 14-06-2008 and it is BOGOF.

It might be usable with the current 342. Has anyone tried this?

I think there was also a voucher yesterday(?) and it might be different? Not sure.

    Hi

Yes it is the model me range which is bogof. I went to boots today, and I have to tell you I am sooo excited with my loot. This was my first bootsing trip since I found you guys, and I have to say its fan dabby dosy. I bought 3 products from the t&g model me range which is 3 for 2, so when you then give over your voucher from the express today you only end up paying for 1 woohoo.

I have to tell you though this doesnt work if you try and pay with points, because I tried it and the till beeped so I just paid the £6.

Really hope I have helped someone, as this is only my 3rd post, so im no expert

thanks everyone im well on my way to having a little stock cupboard of goodies for pressies.

MrsT, I really want to thank you for trying the glitch and reporting it back here!! For a 3rd post, that is a great one. :T
I remember when I reported a "glitch" here for the first time after reading and learning so much here. I was really happy. I had thought of a potential deal, tried it out, it worked and I had the pleasure of being the first to share it!! ;)

Unfortunately you can never pay with points and use vouchers. The 342 should have worked with points, but once you try to use a voucher it won't let you.

Dear taffyscot, it is 341, which is not bad. But you might want to hold on to that voucher and wait to see if until the 14-6 there is 241 offer and in that case it would be 240!! The worst thing that can happen is that there is no offer, and you just get 2 products regularly priced and only pay for one, so you end up with a 241 not a 341.
I will be keeping one of the vouchers to see it a 241 comes along!!

Note: anyone have any clues when the instore offers will change? If they don't change before 14-6, then it is pointless to wait. Thanks.

I have a free camera use voucher from PC mailing.

I remember someone once said that it works in the BOGOF glitch is this still applicable?? Also, its buy 2 get 1 free. Bit cheeky but if the glitch works on the BOGOF does it mean that the third is free then??

    TIA

For those looking for a decent foundation with an SPF in, I can highly recommend Estee Lauder Doublewear. It has SPF10. Okay, it's not the cheapest:

    http://www.boots.com/brandrooms/lauder.jsp?productId=027131466574&n-state=http://www.esteelauder.co.uk/templates/products/sp_shaded.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID%3dCAT1026%26PRODUCT_ID%3dPROD1063~~shopping-cart-location!www.boots.com~G!0B801C09769C!Xhb4YAsvDpVawHxH~~~~@http://syndicator.elcintl.com/syndicator/Wellbeing/esteelauder_uk

but you can get 750 pts wyb 2 EL items.

It goes on smoothly and dries in second and does NOT move all day, seriously. Even in the heat we've had this week it has stayed put ALL day.

    Couldn't recommend it enough :)
