Hi Mizmir ..think you have made the right desicion there as we do have to have realistic goals or if the budget is too tight something has to give. This way you are finding your feet with the new business while maintaining a salary and getting your house done at the same time as paying your debts off....all sounds good to me...

Thanks Taxi. yes - I think that is what worries me - pushing too hard and then everything falling down. Better to go a little slower but more surely. Perhaps my long term goal should be early retirement not going self employed?! Am 45 now....

Hi mizmir!! You certainly sound as though you have done some very real "thinking" over these last few days. For what it is worth, I think you have made some good decisions and you are right, balance is the key and it is sooooo hard to achieve, so the more realistic you are about it all the better.

Good luck with all the matched betting stuff - I am waiting for the Holland/Italy match to finish, so I can free up some money in betfair for the next lot......plus I drew Holland in the betfair sweepstake so for every match they win, I get £10........so far they are 2-0 up.......come on Holland :j

Thanks El. We'll be fine - just means adjusting the expectations a little and giving myself a little slack on the debt repayment. I had £600 as my target for extras for this month and am getting close to £500 so far so I'll put this money towards that this month instead of extra repayments.

Have just placed a couple matched bet offers from the Euro batch - might clear up to £60 if I don't get caught in a long WR. And have finished the c*nbet WR - with £19 profit - but will have to wait till the Euro group qualifiers are known to pull that in. It is all ticking over.

Had another taker for my next workshop today and handed out some leaflets so might even fill it. Aside from that I have not quite finished my tasks but am taking myself to bed anyway! Tomorrow will be soon enough!

Oh I do mornings just fine - just don't do with them what I am supposed to! :D
Had better not spend too much longer on here or I will be late to work again....
