Glad to see you aren't on here as long as you are getting on with it..lol..sounds like a lot of hard work though0

Well that can't be too bad - have just had a long stint and made quite a bit of progress. Have done 3.5 of my 4.5 hours - not sure I'll be able to stay up to midnight - but will try another half hour or so just to tie up some bits and pieces.
Oberon - procrastination is my middle name - I can spend a whole day just having one more peak on MSE, one more check of email, one more look on ebay, one final look at MSE....:o
But tonight have finally been spurred on by the thought of turning up to my meeting tomorrow having made no progress at all. Pity it has taken me so long to get to this. I work really well with the challenge of an impossible deadline but always let it get to the wire - even when I don't need to. Why is that?!
As for matched betting - if you can type numbers into a spreadsheet and tell if one is bigger than the other you can do it.... why not give it a try? You could make up that £800 in a couple of months!0 -

You don't mention Facebook, BBC News, random blogs.... :rotfl:
You and I certainly have the same issues.... leaving everything til the last minute. I am still feeling comforted by something Bandraoi wrote on my thread recently - about recognising that this is just the way we work. Our brains need all that procrastination time.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Ooops - forgot about those!!
And then there's YouTube, Flickr, del.icio.us....
Surprised we get anything done at all!

Thanks - that does make me feel better. Certainly it occurred to me today that my mind is always going - I am always running through things, rehearsing stuff, often composing text in my head - though I don't remember the details when I come to write it down I am sure it helps me organise thoughts. So maybe all that should just be treated as preparation time!
Anyway - back to it for another half hour or so then off to bed. See you all tomorrow!0 -
I do that as well, i have a running commentary in my head...of lists to do( not voices!)
hope you get some rest and brain not too much in overdrive.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Right done for the day. Managed to do 4 hours on it today so happy with that. Will be working on it all day tomorrow (with folk at work so no punctuating with MSE!) so hopefully will make lots of progress there. Am absolutely knackered and am off to bed.... bob - hope you are right - trouble with working late is it is still going round in my head. Still at least I can rest my eyes - too much looking at screens at the moment - I've got eyes like a bloodhound!0
