So a fairly productive day at your end then! Good news on the overpayment of council tax - good for you for standing your ground!

So far so good. Have just done another bit of the c*nbet WR - hopefully will bust out this time though I can't be far off the requirement. I do hanker after the old days where you got £50 SR with no WR! :)

    • [strike]Ring council tax office as I think they have overcharged us[/strike] DONE - after a painful discussion with the woman at the other end who assured me I didn't know my own address I established we will be getting a refund of around £54! :T But not for about 3 weeks

Um sorry , why would you not know your own address for flips sake!

Well done on everything else though (and finally getting them to admit they are wrong!)

cos her computer said something different  - she first told me my address didn't exist then that I didn't know my postcode! When I told her the system was incorrect and please could she change it apparently not - their system is god and is all knowing! It is me and the post office who have got it wrong!  Anyway the repayment is coming so that is the main thing!

very quick update as I have to get out the house and away down to Milton Keynes this morning. Feeling a bit queasy (was actually sick after dinner yesterday which is very unlike me!) but will be OK I am sure.

ebay sales over night totalling £28 so will get those all packed up when I come back this evening and work out my profit. Columbia didn't oblige by beating France so I still have £50 WR at the bookies before I get my matched bet profit but will try to find something tonight. And a tip on the June board gave a £12 cashback tracking for a free sign up - will wait and see if it pays out!

Today will be mostly away so not a lot planned. I do still have the website to update so will do that this evening - plus a lot of cleaning for guests on Thursday and Friday!

    Have a good day everyone.
