That's great, I don't want to be a nag but neither do I want you to be part the way to DF ness and suddenly get hit in the gut by a big unexpected bill!

Not a nag at all - you are quite right. :) That is why I have not cut things to the bone - I need to be realistic to have a chance of doing this. With this we have a good chance and it doesn't assume any additional income though in fact we have had at least a few thousand a year in extra work - and I am now working up the animal training part time too. So any extra can go against the debts - or indeed some into emergencies if needed.

Clothes - we got to a threadbare point this month and went out and bought enough to be going on with! So I think we can manage with nothing more for a while at least. But will have to add that back in later in the year I think.

£15 haircuts - yep! We both go to the student union hairdresser every 8 weeks and it is £15 each - so £15 a month! Great job they do too!

Have just applied for a barclaycard 6.5% life of balance card which if I get I can transfer my two high interest balances onto with no BT fee. Then will have everything on reasonable life of balance amounts and will be able to concentrate on paying them off!

Won't bring forward my DFD but will reduce my last payment by a couple of hundred quid :D

    Fingers crossed.

:) Hope I can keep it up this time!

Making this weekend a big push on the DF front. Had been planning to have a day out at a dog show but the dog was in season so decided rather than go anyway (and spend money!) I would stay at home and get started. Has been a really productive day so far.

Tomorrow have a charity event plus, I am hoping, a client - so with luck I will be making a bit of money over the weekend. But in between it is going to be getting things in order. Have expenses to claim, store cupboards to sort, menus to plan and a 27 fling e-bay-boogie to do!

OK - store cupboard dinner using stuff up rather than starting something new - but very delicious!

And have had my client confirmed so that will be £75 earned over the weekend (though will have travel expenses from that). :j

And have just started a new spending diary. Don't think OH knows what has hit her with new budgets and everything! :D
