our local asda's radio adverts says they take Tesco vouchers0

For Tesco certainly, best advice to the OP is to try and keep on trying even if you get rejected by one cashier/store.
They all have their own opinion on the subject...including head office it seems as mellyp's response from HO contradicts my response from HO

(The rest of that thread is a very interesting read about Tesco and coupons...)
The only thing they all Tescos seem to agree on is that you can't give more than one of the same type of coupon in one transaction if you haven't bought the product named on the coupon.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I am sorry - these coupons come from our marketing department and must be used against the product specified on the coupon. If you bought another pamper product then the system wouldn't recognise the promotion and the discount would not be allocated.
I can only apologise for the disappointment caused by this.
I then replied to say that the vouchers were from Pampers not Tesco, and received the following reply
Thank you for your email.
Still the same - if its a branded coupon. If you try to but another pamper product rather than the one specified then there would be a problem
I can't believe that was their reply - it's complete rubbish! Firstly, their system wouldn't be able to distinguish between a voucher for Pampers Feel'n'Learn and an Active fit (as long as they are Pampers own vouchers, which they are in your case). Secondly, 99.9% of checkout assistants would not give a monkey's which particular nappy you're buying, a Pampers is a Pampers.
I've even used Huggies vouchers for a particular type of Huggies for a different type of Huggies in Sainsbury's (who are not supposed to take vouchers for things you haven't bought at all), so in Tesco it really shouldn't be a problem at all.
HTH. I'm sure you will be able to use those vouchers with no problems whatsoever, no matter what some weirdo (who doesn't even know it's Pampers, not Pamper  ) says.

My local Tesco poilicy is 1 of any different non specific upto 50% of your bill and they will take internet printed, the other local tesco wont take internet. Another nearby Tesco will only take 10% off you r bill but will accept internet.
Internet printed are upto each store manager as is the value of accepting against your shopping.

Actually if the voucher has a barcode then the system can distinguish between different types of products. I've worked on the Checkouts and know this for fact.0 -
Thanks for the advice about the sainsburys vouchers, I have some for £4 off a £40 shop. I seldom shop at sainsburys - so this week I will try to use one in tesco.0

Most of the time it does seem to be 10% although yesterday I got through £4 on a £10 shop. Luck of the draw...
