Selling free range eggs? How much do you charge?

Hi All,
I buy from a lady in our village who sells small, medium and large FR eggs. I get 18 small each week and it costs me just £2.10!!! They are delicious. She is a mum up at the school and almost everyone I know gets their eggs from her. We all save the boxes and return them to her.
My neighbour experimented with raising rare breeds but unfortunately got into it just as feed prices were sky rocketing so has decided to cut his lossesand sell them all on. DH and I have decided we will take a few off his hands. We have a 150ft garden so are planning to keep them at the bottom (next to a neighbours hens so they'll have company)!!

I have 14 chickens at the moment get 5 a day sometimes more,
How many hens have you got and how many eggs??

Our local WI country market charges 90p per half dozen for organic free range eggs.0

I pay £5 for a tray of 30 large free range eggs at my local family run garden centre, who sources them from a local farm. Compared to the supermarkets, I always thought that they were very cheap. I guess they are hoping customers will buy more that just eggs!I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has had to overcome while trying to succeed. I'm paying 79p per 6 free range at local farm shop. Some have really dark yolks, others not so dark. They're definitely variable but very tasty no matter what colour yolk!0

I pay 85p for 6 large free range eggs sold at our local post office on behalf of a local farm.0

My local farm charges £1.20 for 6 free range, so, so do I. I never have any problem selling any excess.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

I pay £1.45 per half doz here in the village,but another village close by sells them from the same farm for £1.03 so I buy a load from them when I can get over there.There are 2 other shops here charging £1.75 and £1.82 for half doz organic free range eggs!0

i sell mine for 75p for 6 , but do give away a few freebies for my regulars.
