eBay policy. Aggressive?

It isn't presumptious on fay's part at all, if you read other posts by Dave Brooker (various user names) he has always been quite upfront about how he works on ebay, he does not hide behind pleasantries.
And how do I work on ebay prey tell?"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Although we don't see things the same (except for that spooky few days last month when we agreed on everything!) I would never accuse you of saying one thing and meaning another. Your posts are full of ways 'round' the system, you have also advocated selling on a different account whilst suspended on the first. That's why I consider that whilst I do not agree with the way you yourself have said you operate on ebay, at least you are honest about it and appear to take the consequences with fairly good humour.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. What Soolin said. Dave and his AEs like to tell us how ebay rules aren't worth sticking to and only benefit ebay... then he tells us he's been suspended four times.
Shock of the century. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Bit presumptious of you! As for the other comment...who are you the 'moral' guide on mse?
Presumably you're referring to post 3.
Why do you think I didn't leap straight in with 'Ebay would have sent you warnings, you should have paid attention.'?
The word 'usually' is the key one here. I didn't make any accusations or any attempt at moral guidance! My TV is broken!

No I meant post no 7 which is what I quoted.
Hardly fits under 'please be nice to other money savers'.
You may not like the way he conducts his ebay accounts, but think that it is presumptious that someone has been a 'bad boy', I certainly was not bad and had 2 x vero's totally unwarranted and harsh to say that you are surprised that someone still shows their face on this forum.0 -

I disagree, because having posted in this forum for several years and read many of Dave's posts, I'd put money on it that he is not an entirely innocent party in his multiple suspensions.
I am surprised that Dave still comes here because a) all he does is slag off ebay and paypal and b) he appears to have a great deal of trouble maintaining his ebay accounts in good order, and I'd have thought he'd have slunk off to his beloved ebid long before now.
I stand by my post, and I don't believe there was anything incorrect or un-nice about it. He HAS been a bad boy and I AM (genuinely) surprised. My TV is broken!

OK fay,
shall we just agree to dissagree? :beer:0 -
All of the VERO program companies ie. GHD / APPLE and MICROSOFT have ebay software they use that directly takes off items on ebay with no intervention from ebay themselves. They put information into your account on why it was removed but it is purely down to the VERO companies themselves who remove the listings.=======================

Fair enough.
I only advocate ignoring ebay's rules due to their habit of changing T&Cs at will, and ignoring almost all my attempts to contact them and sort things out.
So in essence I play them at their own game."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Account 1, had account for 6 years, 1800+ pos fb, few screamers but generaly a good solid 98.somthing account, sold towbar (giant metal thing for car), despite putting collection only, gets bid on by some bloke from Arizona, he moans about the cost of airfreight, then it transpires he's the editor of a large circulation magazine, he gets it into his head I'm ripping him for for postage because it's more than $20, he tells me that my account is toast, and true to his word it gets nuked.
Account 2, couple of years old, gets nuked because of account 1 being nuked. (despite same card and address/phone number it took 6 months though)
Account 3, wifes, only ever used by her, and only ever to buy stuff, despite being 300+ positives and 100% they accuse her of selling on my behalf (remember that the account had never been used for selling) and nuke it at same time as my account 2.
Account 4, sell furniture, collection only, won by someone who didn't collect, get negged, get nuked under 5% rule.
Account 5 still fine.
Account 6 still fine.
Account 7 still fine.
Now I play the system, I do this because ebay ignored all my emails, and accused my wife of all manner of things that she did not do.
Perhaps when you suddenly find yourself suspended through no falut of your own you might realise that ebay simply do not care about their customers, and do not give any warnings."Love you Dave Brooker! x"
