    would that be every postie?
    defy anyone to find 1 band dropped by me covering 800+ doors a day
    however i use approx 3 bnds per bundle,so thats a minimum of 70 bands a day
    so 1 per street wouldnt be dropping them everywhere
    bands can get caught in bundles ,bags etc
    ive jammed the washing machine pump many times with a stray band from my shirt

    I thought loads of rubber bands was a sign of a drug problem in the area as opposed to a postal service.
