Well there are thousands of rubber band all over my town virtually every street has at least one , why do posties drop them everywhere and not pick them up

would that be every postie?
defy anyone to find 1 band dropped by me covering 800+ doors a day
however i use approx 3 bnds per bundle,so thats a minimum of 70 bands a day
so 1 per street wouldnt be dropping them everywhere
bands can get caught in bundles ,bags etc
ive jammed the washing machine pump many times with a stray band from my shirt0 -
