I'm back from work!!
Took the dog for a paddle, it was very hot.
Had my shopping delivered from Asda and have had to call them as all 3 tubs of braising steak had today's date on them. They were fine though and refunded me - if they had still been on the shelf though, they would be yellow stickered by now and it says on the website that if meat is short dated, to call them. £4.74 refunded!
The delivery girl was also going on about a free kit kat being included in my shopping, but I think she must have been on drugs as there isn't one in there!! (and I'm not sure why there would be?!)"Stay Wonky":D

Its happening a lot lately, getting logged off and then being unable to get on the forums. Its the DFW gremlins at work..................aaaaaarghhhhhhBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Did you get to keep the braising steak, or are they bringing another lot for you ?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

they just did a straight refund. I haven't got any room in the freezer unless I have a big shift around - but I think I'll have to do that otherwise it will get wasted before I need it.
Jacs - hope everything works out with DH's move - enjoy every day until then!!!!
i've just had an egg related incident  I cracked an egg and between the work top and the pan it slipped out of the shell and down the tiniest gap ever between the work top and the cooker  i've just had to clear up egg off the floor and down the side of the cooker whilst the cooker was on - it was dripping onto the floor so I didn't want to leave it until after i'd eaten when it would have been even yuckier!! Luckily it is a freestanding one on quite high legs so I could move it gently out a bit and then get in to clean the floor and side of cooker!!!! I tried in vain to scoop it up but it disappeared down the crack faster than I could try to scoop it up!! :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

How about cous cous jacs?? The flavoured packet ones are brilliant.
Maybe some ratatouille? Onions, courgettes, aubergine, peppers, garlic, dried herbs and a can of tomatoes. Serve it over the chops with rice or a salad?"Stay Wonky":D

Hiya Hun...you been busy again (silly question)!
I am going to meet myself coming back one of these daystoo.
New job seems to be going OK and I managed to have a schmooze about the internet for a couple of hours (work related of course;) ) so have managed to catch up on a few threads, but posting to forums is blocked:mad: .
Just finished my new job 9am-3pm, at home at teh moment doing dutiful Wife and Mother stuff then back out to work to teach 6-8.30pm and I know we have ran out of bread and some other stuff for packed lunches so I will have to go to Asda when I finish.
May be back on here later if I can find a couple of match sticks to hold my eyes open with.:rolleyes:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0
