HESTER:eek:    !!!!!!
As I was reading your blog, I noticed the tops of the two photos underneath and I though 'Surely she's not posted stills from the webcam? Not even Hester would do that - would she?'!!! I was mighty relieved to see two innocent photos!
For those wondering where the blog is, click on Hester's name and then go to the homepage! TNG - it's too X-rated for you!
JESSICA RABBIT - some men are like that. My DH has perfected the neglected sigh when I am preoccupied with something that does not include or involve him. I find it intensely irritating because it reminds me of when the children were small and they used to say 'there's nothing to do'!!
Well, my plans for this morning went out of the window because DS2 called in on his way back from an annual hospital check-up; it was lovely to see him and we had a good long chat over a cuppa. Since he moved into his new house with his bride-to-be over a year ago I've missed our regular chats.
Well, I was going to go to the shops and the gym - the gym is out because I won't have time and I'll pop to the shops just before I collect DGS from school. I shall have to get on with some work now!
See you all later.

Morning all,
Another lovely day here...DGS1 is here all day and have to collect DGS2 from school at 1.25, we might go for a walk in forest on way to get him.
Having a barbecue for dinner, but around 2-3 as OH will be hungry then...eats 2 meals a day, around 11 and 3, not normal I consider but maybe that's what keeps him so thin...I just get hungry again around 8!
Smoky...what a lovely dream! I agree with others who have said that Eric is watching over you all and is so proud of the way you are coping...will be thinking of you on 16th..
Hugs to all in need or want

just grabbing some lunch and a rest before I get going again. hovered whole house, demolished the ironing pile (even all the school shirts!), cleaned bathrooms, done some washing....and the blinds man came. picked out something plain and cream and its worked out at ~£50 a window so not too bad. now will need to think about rubbing down window frames and varnishing them before the delivery date in 10 days....
after lunch might pop round friend's for a [STRIKE]gossip[/STRIKE] coffee!
special thoughts to those who are in need today....and my friend's poor hound who is having his tail amputated today. he has had terrible problems with sores and a skin condition which means its constantly infected and bleeding...so hopefully he'll feel much better with out it.x x x0 -
A word of warning to anyone reading Hesters blog for the first time - do not have anything to eat or drink while you do this.
I nearly choked myself laughing!
Need to go to dentist for check up this afternoon and might look out a skirt rather than trousers as weather is so nice today.
No idea what to make for tea but have made DH cheese on toast just now so that should keep him happy for a while.
Might try HM tortillas or spicy potato wedges and Twinks hob nobs for the first time.
Hugs to all."This site is addictive!"

Another glorious day down here in more ways than one. The sun is shining and I'm on my hols until next week :j
As soon as I'm fed, showered and the EAH is tidied up (talk about, it looks like a single "bloke" lives here
) me and the Hounds of Benthos are off up to the homelands for some bread and dripping with mi mam and dad. I haven't seen them for a few months so I'm looking forward to it and I shall see big sis as well. While I'm up there, I might even get my battle armour and broadsword out and see if there any maidens who need rescuing from a lifetime of misery
Take care all and big hugs to anyone in need, esp Smokey.
See you all next week.
Man try

I sent Hester's blog on to my DH at work and he has said I should offer the chance for Katy to earn some extra money... he works for a TV Broadcasting company and one of the clients that rents a studio from them broadcasts something of a nature that Katy would probably be good at if you know what I mean! :rotfl:0

hello, i've just started the grocery challenge which means no afternoon shopping trips with the kiddies, The more i stay indoors the less money i spend. So i've been reading more as a result of this and would like to recommend this book to everyone- the sacred book of the werewolf by victor pelevin. It's half science fantasy half russian political satire. Odd mix i know but some how it works.
Thanks for the link to the blog mentioned earlier. Very amusing, recently went to an ann summers party and had a great laugh. I couldnt help but mention to everyone whilst there that it was much better value opting for the largest RR, money saving appears in all segments of life!0 -
Good afternoon all!
What a fantastic day, this weather is glorious. Just been for a walk with a friend and the dog, only one egg now in the swan nest, one is broken on the side of the river bank, looks like someone or something has removed it from the nest. Hopefully there are others that we couldn't see and they'll all hatch.
Another friend popped round for lunch, so that was lovely to catch up, gave her the pottery creations that her girls made at dd3's party a week or so ago! Sure they'll have pride of place, or perhaps not a bit like our ones!
As for os stuff, made two loaves, 2 lots of washing, yet more hoovering - where does all the fluff and grass come from?! Lovely to be able to put stuff on the line and not worry about it, also got all the little bits on the old airer that I found hidden in the garage, less pegging out that way! Bunged in pots to bake for tea, nice and simple with salad before I have to go to w**k tonight!
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the day. xGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
