Morning all.
I haven't got much to say except - I've just read Hester's blog PMSL :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Bulletproof0 -
Morning all
Re Hester's blog - not only is she an inconsiderate little madam but her hygiene habits leave a lot to be desired too :mad::rolleyes: Hester, your blog did make me laugh though :rotfl:
Work today - booooo - its so hot where I work in the mornings so am dreading going in today with all this glorious weather, and likewise I hope they have turned the heating off by now or there will be words
Meatballs and spaghetti for dinner and a sit out in the garden for a read afterwords I think - make the most of the nice weather in case it decides to disappear.
As Moliere said, Smokey, such a bittersweet dream but be assured he is watching over you all, take some small comfort from that at least.
Have a good day everyone - byeeeeeee0 -
Morning one and all.
Another glorious day down here in more ways than one. The sun is shining and I'm on my hols until next week :j
As soon as I'm fed, showered and the EAH is tidied up (talk about

, it looks like a single "bloke" lives here
) me and the Hounds of Benthos are off up to the homelands for some bread and dripping with mi mam and dad. I haven't seen them for a few months so I'm looking forward to it and I shall see big sis as well. While I'm up there, I might even get my battle armour and broadsword out and see if there any maidens who need rescuing from a lifetime of misery
Take care all and big hugs to anyone in need, esp Smokey.
See you all next week.
Man try
ps: Lyndseyann, did you not know? I went for something silky smooth and very feminine
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (if I get any happier, they'll wonder what's wrong with me  ) LBM: 12.2.08.Debt-free as of July '09 :j and determined not to go there, ever again :mad:DFW Nerd Club #902 Proud to have dealt with my debts.0 -
Good Morning All
Another glorious day here. Washing allready out on the line, another load in WM.
Got a mechanic coming out at 9am to look at the car! Get another opinion before I decide whether to scrap or not!
Brought some flip-flop type sandals y-day from Windsors £3.95.
Toad in the hole for dinner later!
Dad's birthday this sat, haven't a clue what to get him!
Anyway, best be off
Take care

Morning everyone
Oh Hester - what can I say - candygirl - when you get around to reading Hester's blog the golden rule is - no tea or coffee unless you want to mess up your screen
Smoky - hugs
bad night's sleep last night so I will be mostly falling asleep in court today. I have told dd that if she doesn't bring home a packing list and itinerary for her trip tonight she's not blooming going - I'll bet she's not the only kid who interprets "please take this very important letter home and make sure your mum sees it" as "please scrobble this random peice of paper up and leave it in the bottom of your bag along with last week's lunch leftovers and some wet swimming gear therebye rendering it illegible and make sure you present it to your mum in two weeks time telling her that it needs to be actioned yesterday". Also why oh why do kids think that 8.29 is the ideal time to let you know that they need to go to school this morning dressed as a snowball, with a cheque for 37.50 keyboard money and the ingredients for some exotic concoction that's going to blow the grocery budget for a month .... sigh
anyhoo - time for me and bikey to head off to w8rk - have a good dayI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Good morning everyone
Back to w**k today. Had an extended weekend so really don't feel like going back, especially as I know my boss has a pile of work that needs doing today.
He also wants to sit down and talk about the direction of the business and where I fit in with the plan. It seems that I will be going on courses and studying for some qualifications. The only problem is that it messes with my plans to restart my OU degree. I can't manage both. Will have a better idea after "the talk" today.
Have a finance committee meeting after school today. Hope its a quick one.
Smoky I hope the dream gave you some comfort. (((hugs)))
Hester all I can say is
lyndseyann good luck with vampira.
dogrose good luck at the dentist.
Pasta with four cheese sauce for DS and DD tonight. I will be having a healthier option after Aussie's telling off the other day.
Have a wonderful Wednesday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Have to go for physio this morning on my back/neck then off to pick up prescription for antibiotics that docs phoned me about yesterday, by the time i got the message it was too late to collect it  .
Got some more Ebay items to post today, OH is going to *blow* the money on a new exhaust for the motorbike so at least 1 vehicle will be on the road...
Anyhow must dash queues in P.O and bank were horrendous yesterday so i'm going to be prepared today :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Hugs to all in need.

Hello again - so hot here yesterday, so hopefully it will stay the same as DH and I will go to the park for a picnic at lunchtime, I'll make rice and potato salad and whatever else in the fridge.
Hopefully get a good start on my company's website later on as DH will be going for a meeting with a new agent. (He's like a child as if he is around I have to pay him FULL attention - lol!)0 -
Morning all!
off to do Mums cleaning in a min then got the rest of the day free!:j am popping into Ludlow later for coffee with a friend and to get my nails done, its costing me a fortune but gives me such a boost to look at them after years of nailbiting!
Was awoken at 5am by the phone:eek: was worried that soemthing had happened to DH or DS1 but when I answered there was just a lot of funny noises(like a fax machine number) I was not amused. Then when I got back off to sleep next doors cat started fighting outside my window! then DH popped in at 6.15 am with a morning paper for me and to change into some cooler clothes so I might as well have got up at 5!
