OS daily thread Wednesday 7th May

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 7th May. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Morning Everyone :hello:

It'sgoing to be anotherbeautiful day here, unfortunately I'm back at work , so won't get to enjoy it as much as would at home, still I'm in and out of buildings durin the day so hopefully will get a glimpse or two. Might actually not be a bad idea seeing as how I was out for so long yesterday, I seem to have caught thesun a little bit. Shoulders are a bit tight this morning.

Must go and leave something out of the freezer for tea, probably sausages then we can have hot dogs tonight with salad.

((((((hugs)))))) to all who are in need

Hope your day is sunny where ever you are.

See you later

    Morning.

I managed another hefty day in the garden. All the veggies are transplanted and seeds sown, so it's all looking good. The rain forcast tomorrow will bed everything in nicely. Back to real work today, so I will enjoy the rest.

Betheebee - thought you were "doing a Christabell" for a minute there..!!! :)

Beautiful here again too. Can't believe how gorgeous the weather has been, especially after predictions of rain... In the office this morning, but then out & about in Hastings visiting people this afternoon. Written virtually the 3000 words I need for my essay, just need to tidy it up, add references/quotes, etc, but essentially it's all there :) Just one more to go..... that will be like pulling teeth!!

((((((smokey)))))) Very bittersweet dream for you, I'm glad it was a lovely one, but so sorry you had to wake up knowing it wasn't real. Eric would be very proud of you, I'm sure, you are doing a fantastic job & I hope you & your children are taking strength from each other.

(((((((penpin, mrsmix, candygirl)))))) and others who I have forgotten (not intentionally).

TNG - running in your pants today then???? ;) :kisses2:

Dazi - glad to hear you had a good time here in Sussex :) Did you catch up with DS or decide to leave it??? New job sounds like hard work & made even more so when someone else doesn't pull their weight  Keep looking & I'm sure something will pop up.

Anyhow, time for more tea I think, have a good day everyone.

Edit to add, Lynseyann - blood test will be over before you know it and then you can have a nice cuppa. I used to be terrified of needles (well, still am really) but when I was expecting DD's 2 and 3 (they are now 11 & 14!) I suffered a lot with anaemia - and still can do now - so got used to being a human pincushion... It's not the nicest thing in the world, but is usually done in seconds & apart from a little !!!!! wasn't painful. Just a few moments of discomfort.

Another lovely day here in Berkshire.
We had a late night last night, went to meet a friend for a birthday drink, we only stayed an hour but it was a 2 hour round trip.
Came home to find Katy 'busy' was a bit of a shock, but gave us such a giggle.
Best get ready to go to work, have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

SMOKEY will be thinking of you on the 16th, big hugs to you. Hugs to anyone else who needs one, Jayward, at least they have finally found out what is wrong with you, hugs to you.

It's another glorious day here. Will nip down to the allotment to do some watering this morning, also have a beautician's appointment (having my thread veins done). Off to do a bit of ironing in a minute, hate doing loads at a time so try to do it when it's dry.

Off to bed later, have work tonight, will try and get some studying done as well.

Right, off into organised mode! Have a good day all.
