    According to the mailout I received yesterday, from 14-16 May Debenhams account holders DO get 30% off in the restaurant (instead of usual 10 or 20%) when paying with account card.

    Does anyone know if House of Fraser will be doing an impromptu 'spectacular' event this week to match what Debenhams is doing? I know this sometimes happens in reverse, eg when Frasers do their Spectacular days, Debenhams and sometimes John Lewis will offer similiar discounts on the same day.

    Yes I got the same mailing too saying the discount will replace your existing discount amount and will be 30% over the 3 days.

    I appologise for giving the wrong information, i have double checked and there is 30% off for cardholders in restaurants and cafe's as long as payment is made onto the debenhams card. Terms and conditions will apply in some stores.

    havent used them since. John Lewis, M and S, and House of Fraser get my business instead.

    I opened a Debenhams card on Sunday and was told I could get the Summer Spectacular prices all week (not just Weds, Thurs, Fri) plus the 10% off for opening the card. I went back yesterday to check this and again got 20% off everything and then a further 10%.
