I work in debenhams, so will try and answer some of the points raised.

As had already been mentioned there will be a spectacular price promise "If an item purchased during the spectacular is unwanted, the customer can sawp it for another item within 28 days and we will honour the spectacular discount" But note that the spectacular discount will only apply to the the item being swapped - not for any other items that are purchased at the time of exchange.

Selected cardholders will have been sent either a free £10 giftcard when they spend £100 or more using thier debenhams card or a free £5 giftcard when they spend £30 or more using their debenhams card.

The free gift to cardholders will be as follows:
Wednesday - Lily o'brien's milk bar or organic bar
Thursday - box of lily o'brien's chocolates
Friday - Lily o'brien's stickey toffee filled bar or honeycomb crisp bar
But be warned in the store where i work they go pretty quickly!

30% discount in restaurants and cafe's for cardholders instead of the usual 20% for gold card holders and 10% for classic card holders. N.B. You have to pay on your card to obtain the discount. Terms and conditions apply in some stores.

May just pop in then. I still have one of the £10 off when you spend £50 or £5 off £25. Have a look about, see if you have any laying around, they're valid till 29th June. (these were the nectar point thingys)

Just to let you know i don't think you can use the nectar vouchers during the megaday, as debenhams would practically be giving stuff away! Don't take my word for that though, you may be able to use them but i am sure that during the last sale you couldn't use the nectar vouchers.

Just to say also that Debenhams are starting their mega day early - from Saturday the 10th - Tuesday 13th May - but only if you have a personal invitation - if not then you have to wait until the 14th with everyone else.
So i guess theres a chance that lots of stock will shift on 10-13th to the lucky few with invites & some items may be out of stock in stores/online by the time it officially starts !

The sale is on everything instore, but if they dont have stock of an item left you cant buy it !:rolleyes:

I'd say no to the Nectar vouchers for this event is most likely, they wouldn't let you double it up with the Beauty promotion recently.

Worth nothing that the Hot Offers are not available on the preview 10th -13th but the other discounts will be on
