    I agree.
I still don't get it. The old plastic bags were also reusable?

I remember when I was young the supermarkets used to have stacks of cardboard boxes near the tills which you could use to pack your shopping.

Having read previous comments about only being given 1 reusable bag I went prepared today - had a trolley of items & when SA said 'sorry i can only give you one of these' i replied 'don't worry i've got my free Waitrose ones here'
which i pulled out of my Tesco ladybird bag! :rotfl:

Even funnier would have been to say> well when that one bag is filled, you will have to have someone put the remaining 90% of the goods in the trolley back onto the shelves.

What is it with some of you shoppers, can't you take with you the bags you already have when you go shopping, especially as many of you are in cars? Each time I go to the supermarkets I see people stuffing their trolleys with several new bags, the exception to this is the economy stores such as Aldis or Lidls as they don't give free bags ,it's surprising how many people remember to bring their own when it hits them in the wallet. Try it you will soon get into the habit.

So, Morrisons are giving away 10 million reuseable bags. I did my shopping yesterday in Morrisons and there were none of these free bags on view and when I asked was told they were finished. I feel aggrieved, that as a regular Morrisons shopper, I have missed out on this. Never mind, I can always use my Tesco bag for life.
