    Today I have:
    • Washed on a short, cool cycle and line dried the load
    • Made a loaf of bread in breadmaker
    • Ate a huge pile pf porridge at 10am which kept me full all day and I'm still not that hungry now
    • Planted 40 onion bulbs
    • Painted our 'recycled' chicken hutch using a huge full tin of Cuprinol wood preserver the previous house owners left in the garage.
    • Painted one fence panel with the wood preserver as well
    • Put dibs on three free chickens from someone who is overrun with them
    • Shredded tons of garden prunings for the compost heap
    • Listed some books on Green Metropolis
    • Half stripped a old pine door we were going to replace and discovered it is gorgeous underneath its layers of dodgy 70's paint, so no need to buy new one. Yay!
And the one I'm most proud of:
    • Spent absolutely nothing. Nada. Nil. Zip.
    "carpe that diem"
  • Hope you all had a great bank holiday :D

Me and mine went to see some re-enactment of medieval battles. Not really my cup of tea but DS3 loved it - was given a bit of pipe lagging and got to join in! Of course that means it wasn't a NSD but we did take a picnic and all they had spent on them was for an icecream.

    Also
    • made more bread in BM
    • made Twinks hobnobs - yum
    • found mince reduced ( yellow sticker!) and made spag bol. Hoped it would last two meals but got wolfed down by hungry hoards
    • washed at 30
Happy rest of the day :j
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.
