When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Good morning!
Well.....to start with, I bought enough cereals yesterday so that we have no excuses but to eat breakfast at home this morning before we go out for the day.
I also bought some panini loaves so I can make lunch before we go out for the day!!
Here's cheating a little bit, but yesterday, we placed our gas guzzling 4x4 on the end of our drive, and about 3 hours later, we had sold it!! Woo-hoo!!!! (Thought we'd be stuck with it for ages!!)
Errrm......that's about it really!

However i do have some things planned already:

Have a look at Amazon and investigate how you sell old books on there.....got quite a few in good condition Open University textbooks I don't need any more as I got my degree at Xmas:D
Have a NSD....just going to potter around in garden and enjoy nice weather:A
Peg out school uniforms in a mo and maybe stick bed linen on a 30 Super Quick wash as well:T

Think that's about it for day, hope everyone has a good day whatever you are doing:j :rotfl: :j:hello: :jEternal Optimist:j:hello:BR 22.09.08:staradmin BSC Member 201:staradmin0 -
Thanks for the encouragment guys, but as long as we all do something everyday we'll get there in the end. Sometimes i wish i would have a day off to just relax, but once everything in my life catchs up with itself i will have a day all to myself!
Eternal optimist, text books sell really well on Amazon, just put the ibn code in and it will find the book and then there will be an option to sell one similair. I do this all the time with mine! Congrats on getting your degree by the way, i'm currently half way through mine. Have you any plans for the degree?:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j
