Soappie - yes, it's because it's clean now, lol! I'll make a start on the others after my friend leaves tonight.

Pigpen - I forgot to say that the £25 a month includes broadband too. We currently pay £14.99 a month for broadband on top of the £46 to BT for everything else so we're going from £60.99 a month to £25 a month....too good to be true?????!!!??!??!??! Maybe we still have to pay the £14.99...he's gone out so i'll question him later. Mind you, even if we do we'll only be spending £39.99 a month instead of £60.99. I'll stop rambling now:rotfl: xx

Our broadband is £17 a month and the phone is.. about £17.50 a month on this plan but hubby is ringing them tomorrow to drop it down a level so it should be £14 a month then.. those £3.50's will add up!!

      Evening all

Just caught up on the thread. There are a lot of highs and lows at the moment, so congratulations and hugs appropriately!

Anyone who's seen my status on Facebook  DS's GF came with us to the Spring Showcase at school last night. We picked her up at 6.30 as it started at 7.00 and the seats fill up quickly. It was fantastic, great talent and we all really enjoyed it. On the way home, I said "By the way, T, did you have your dinner before you came out?" She said "I just had some toast" I am so angry. I know exactly the conversation: "Well, if you're going out early you'd better get yourself something." This will be because dad doesn't get home till around 6.40 and mum can;t be bothered to move herself!:mad::mad: GF is now registered disabled and has very painful hands all the time. Oh well, she's coming to ours for dinner tomorrow, but we're counting the days to her birthday. Pity it's still over 6 months. There's still no sign of them getting the house ready to sell though so that's a help. At least she can still come to us regularly. If they moved away she wouldn't be able to.

Well, I did try some flying after work, but my Dyson's packed up again! New plug and it worked fine, but it died mid vac, so I think there's loose wires somewhere. I've done all my dailies, loads of washing out, working on decluttering, planted a jasmine and a clematis yesterday and I've got a lovely little bay tree to put in a nice big pot. I've put a request on Freecycle for stuff to do some crazy paving and finish our rockery. I'm determined we'll get some use out fo our garden this year, with or without my "gardener's help". Not seen him since last May, apart from pruning my apple tree a couple of months ago, but he's my brother's FIL, so don't want to be awkward. I know he had a spell where he was unwell last year, but then I hear he's cut SIL's grass and think "What about finishing my patio?" Oh well, it'll be done eventually.

Anyway, I'm off on a job hunt then I've to pick DD up from the station, so goodnight all. x

See.. I'm not ENTIRELY evil... lol..

This week I have done a grand total of next to nothing.. I have been so busy running from appointment to appointment chasing furniture and a bank holiday I have practically disappeared up my own existance and next week is simply not looking any easier.. I have however.. been asked if I want a job cleaning the opticians!! so I need to go sort that out next week.. see what they are thinking of offering.. or if it was just all talk or if they actually need someone.. I am quite capable of brandishing a duster round the specs and vacuuming the carpet.. it is worth asking isn't it.. it might just be a couple of hours a week but it all helps.. and I have the 'interview' for the job I've already been offered on Tuesday afternoon.. another dead loss day for me!

I have a room full of furniture to disappear round the rest of the house over the weekend so we can do some more in the middle room now the fireplace is almost done.. best get his lordship to sort a plasterer too..

Oooh I have a day off next Wednesday.. I'll be able to slap some more paint about in the boys room.. :D

      this week went..

      Monday.. day off..
Tuesday.. moving furniture from Marys to mine
      Wednesday.. pee clinic with DD3
Thursday.. dashing about after my mother, sorting in the garden and recycling.. sorted finances & paid bills.. opticians
Friday.. phone calls.. nail appointment.. playing catch up by the looks of things!
