Thanks for the good wishes for my interview. I am really not in the mood to be going. Too tired, too hot and my eyes are burning like mad! icon_mad.gif Oh well, one way or another I'll find out today if I should go the job center recommended route or Plan B (aka study my derrier off, doubling my studies through Open uni to see if I can complete my degree faster so I can get to the final year of it and start working as an unqualified teacher somewhere!)

I didn't update my CV so I'm going to see if I can throw a basic one together now.... laters!!!

Nicki - best of luck for today. Knock their socks off.

Pigpen - hope you get the job too. As you said, it all helps!

Hope all the hay fever sufferers are not so bad today - we have had rain, which helps, although it's still warm. Just off to use my eye drops, I've done all the rest!

He doesn't like sprays of any form, I did manage to get him a roll on one today which I am hoping he finds less messy for now. Wonder why they have stopped making all the wipe versions? So handy and such a great idea. Wondering now with the big Boots not stocking any, no longer in Avon, not online anywhere if they were proven not to be effective?

The pampers site said it was 'purely marketing reasons'. So I am assuming they did not sell all that well. They were £6-ish for 40 wipes, so quite expensive. But they worked. They do warn now that any old stock will be over a year old and they can not guarantee the effectiveness.

I have taken to smearing vaseline up my nose! It seems to be helping a little. If nothing else it feels nice when your nose is all itchy! Tablets are working too, but making me feel really groggy during the day, hope it gets better.

    Morning

    Feeling rubbish today.. very tired

While DD is sleeping i thought id update my little list for this week... hopefully can start flying properly next week.. only to level one of course ;) But house is starting to look like a bomb has gone off! :o
    • [STRIKE]Ring registry office to get appointment to register DD fitting round OHs work hours [/STRIKE]
    • Make thank you list and start cards for the oodles of pressies we have received
    • [STRIKE]Do my uni TMA reading [/STRIKE]
    • " " " " " " plan
    • " " " " " " actual assignment :rotfl:
    • Put away the mountain of ironing/dry clothes thats collected in the spare room
    • Sort through my wardrobe to find clothes that fit
Whoops! not much done :rotfl: I have been doing dailies though like washing dishes, washing clothes, quick tidying of worse rooms...

My excuse is the uni reading took forever as i was a bit behind and DD has been feeding every 2 hours again and wont settle properly which midwife said is because shes going through a growth spurt apparently.

Oh well... off to start the uni TMA plan.. when i can stop my nose bleed thats just started while i was typing this post...Nose literally exploded for no reason and doesnt seem to want to stop.. :(:(

johanne hope it stops soon, don't trundle you're dripping red stuff on the floor and pigpen doesn't like mess in here (reminds her of home too much!) you're not allowed to do more than absolutely necessary! So yes, level one might be ok.
tia I got piles of the wipes last year when they were selling them off, from Avon and Boots unfortunately seems we have used them all as there was none left in the suncream bag. Don't you just hate it when they make something you like and then stop!
shelley, wish I was as enthusiastic as you!

Good morning everyone, well DSs taxi was late again, when DS2 asked why they were late she said we'll always be at this time now, so going to have to speak to them about it, more annoyed that they haven't mentioned it to me and he's stood at the window from 8.30am. It's absolutely no use to me them collecting him at 8.48 am when I have to have DS2 to school for 8.50am, I don't want to have to take him in the car every day or him be late. Ok rant about that over

So far this morning I have put a washer load in, emptied the dishwasher (started it just before bed so not got done last night) refilled it with brekkie things, wiped kitchen work tops and clean cupboard fronts, cleaned hob and walked the dogs. So apart from the floor in the kitchen it's done. Only every other room to do now...sitting room is the next challenge, it's a tip! I have washed the 'wipe hands on the wall because they are dirty' marks off, I know it's DS1 doing it because he hates being dirty and it's driving me mad!
One day I might be more organised...........
