They are just trying to put the frighteners on you tia you have a claim under the sale of goods act and they have the responsibility to provide goods that are fit for purpose which this clearly is not. If they are saying it has to go for repair then you need to ask them for a loan TV whilst it is away. If they don't/won't do that then I would just ask for a refund and either buy another of the same model or a different one.
In the meantime have a :coffee: with me, I have some Foxes Classic biscuits to go with it as wellOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Morning
g&b yes you can, but some oils can discolour some surfaces so be careful
tia, give em hell! Agree with AnW'sMum!
Michelle, I'm sure he'll settle with the BF soon, doesn't sound like too bad a first night.
Well good morning, been 'one of those' mornings here, DS1 having a big nose bleed, DS2 wanted to sleep in then was being a PITA then DS1s taxi was late meaning DS2 was then late. Anyway they're all gone now, got to go to Sunderland at some point to get that blinking nut, other than that a housework day for me because this place is a mess, must get our bed sheets in the wash when DP gets up. Speaking of which we started talking last night, me being a little more harsh with him seems to be helping, we do need to talk more, his Mam is back this week so that usually causes issues, will see how it goes. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

I know, I did even say 'well, in that case I will have to contact Trading Standards first as I am not sure a repair woul be good enough for an 8 month old TV' she was a bit quiet at that point. I said I'd call back as i was getting a bit miffed off by then.
:coffee: and make a list for taday then. DS2 in bed for a nap will just quickly pick up the toys and what not while kettle is boiling.0 -
