Jill huge hugs for you, it is so hard that first day but it is over now and you should be proud of yourself. It gets easier from here on in. You need to rope everyone into getting you all organised, that way the work load is shared a bit. In no time at all you will enjoy getting away from them all for a few hours and thinking about other things. I tell them all at my work that I go there for a rest and they think I am joking ;)

Hope everyone has a good day, hugs to all those in need and an extra hug to baby Sam :) So glad it went well Michelle it all sounds very similar to when W was born. I started at 3am and he was born at 6.16am weighing 9lb bang on. Was great to be home at lunch time. Charlie looks so proud, enjoy these next few weeks they will fly even quicker than when Charlie was born.

    Morning everyone.

Thanks for all your well wishes - i really appreciate them. Had a reasonable night. Mum left about ten - i had a bath then fed Sam and got to turn lights out at 11:45-4ish. He then didn't settle back down again, but i think he's hungry and i am not giving him the goodies quickly enough for him. BF is a bit cruel isn't it.

We have been up since 7ish. Managed breakie with Charlie.

Jill sorry you had such a bad day - all the exercise though and that weight will fly off if you want rose tinted way of looking at it.

tracey hope your Sam is better today.

pigpen 41 cms with number one - ouchy. I would have stuck at 1 at that point i think ;)

Right, DH going to hang out my washing on the line. I will be getting ready, then they are going to boots to get some vital supplies and MFI to complain again about the wardrobes. I will chase the washing round the house and get a load of baby stuff in the machine - wet through twice, and very phlegmy baby, so lots of moses basket sheets.

Midwife will visit at some point today, and we may have a little ride over to my parents house so my dad can meet Sam, but only for 30 minutes or so if i feel ok.

So, will have my feet up a lot, and i think we will all try and have a snooze when DS1 does this afternoon.

    Michelle, x

I'm quite enjoying this cleaning lark

Take 2 aspirin and have a lie down in a dark room. If that doesn't cure it you must go and see your GP. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I HATE tesco!!!

My TV, that was bought 20/10/07 is faulty and they said they can arrange a repair but we may have to pay for it if it's been mis-used.... How can you mis-use a telly? First it was take all the wires out and leave it for an hour... yeah I did try that. When does it do it? Well, when it feels like doing it. Trading standards are getting a call first. *in a big huff* Plus I could barely hear her!

Jill, I hope today is a bit btter for you. And maybe DH needs a poke in the ribs?
