Hugs soappie.
Happy birthday Luby Lou.
I am so, so, so, so tired. Got to the stage at about 6 that I knew i'd fall asleep if I sat down so I cleaned the bathroom. Then I had to convince dd that she could sing the aural or is it oral (past caring, sorry) bit for her piano exam. I had to play five notes and she had to sing it but she was too embarrassed. The piano teacher had asked me to practise with her. I kept telling her she can do it. Bless her, she is so bright and can do anything but she thinks she can't. Now i'm beating myself up that she has no confidence, is it my fault? Agghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
DS had a shower and DD wanted one but then she was asking where the shampoo is, where the conditioner was, which was her towel....all stuff she knows but she'd started panicing. In the end I didn't have the energy and said have a shower tomorrow. Probably not the right answer as she has brownies tomorrow.
So, now i've got DS in bed (aged 7) and DD reading (aged 9) and the children who live behind (aged 4,5 and 6) are all out playing on the trampoline so i'm the mean mum.
Sorry, didn't mean to rant and yes....auntie flo is coming to stay soon!!!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I've made myself laugh i've moaned so muchxx

oh fab news ......CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL XXXXXXXXX0 -
Just a quick pop in to say hello,
Labour started properly at 3:30 this morning with waters breaking and contractions immediately two minutes apart. Rang sister and got to hospital as quick as we could, where i was already 8cm and head crowning, baby born at 6:20 this morning, discharged from hospital at 1:30ish.
Sam Patchet weighed in at a whopping 9Ib 2oz  with a 37cm head. I don't think i should continue having more children. DS was 7Ib13 and 35cm.
I'm a bit sore from some stitches but on the whole not bad. Got Dh to do a washload for me when we got in, as we might as well keep up to date.My sister had hoovered up for me and tidied up lots of the house while she was sitting with DS. What a star, and so lovely to come home to a clean house.
I knew you would all want to know, although some of you will already have spotted it on facebook. If i am not around much it is cos it is blooming hard work sitting on this chair to get on the puter, although hopefully i will manage to stay around a bit.
Hugs to you all. Michelle, xx0 -
Big Congrats Michelle, Sam is beautiful. Hope your resting.
Luby-lou Happy Birthday:bdaycake:
Big hugs to everyone, haven't been at much today. Done a few messages in town, went to course and had a BBQ out in the garden this evening. Plan is to head to bed soon and catch up on the list tomorrow, gob still sore and eating painkillers like smarties.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Evening lovely ladies (and where is flyboy these days!)
Had a lovely easy day yesterday, altho washing machine was on all day it was hung out in the lovely sunshine we had. Managed to do bathroom yesterday (even tho it was a day off) and hoovered through upstairs.
Was back to work today so missed all the lovely sunshine, we dont even have a window we can look out of, office has skylights and cant even see out if stood on my desk.
Nice to see you back Shell, being my near neighbour I'd noticed you were missing altho I was AWOL for a couple of weeks :rotfl:
Michelle hope something is happening so fingers crossed for you all
Pigpen - hubby ironing shirts, thats amazing, altho I stopped ironing any of my OH's stuff months ago. I think he just wears stuff straight from his pile now. I work FT just same as he does so why should I do his as well. Good onya for making him do it.
Tashja sorry ot hear abou your PND, theres always someone on here you can sound of to if you need
Welcome to Liz and Tiptoes and anyone else I missed
Dusty, I liked the tree but love the bench and the boys
Bargainbird hope your DD has no lasting damage, sounded nasty
Liz - with dailies, just put on what works for you, I had to adjust mine several times before I got to something that worked, and as for lovely clean houses you've missed some cracking photos that would make you [strike]pi55 yourself [/strike]smile. I work FT and rarely get anywhere near completing a list
Special hugs for Vanilla you still sound like its a rough time for you x
Jill hope your first day back went well, you cant think about what you lay out to your minder, it screws you up and if you did, everytime you see a kid with a baby or layabout who's never done a days work in your life, you'd be thinking I pay for all that you have with my taxes. Unfortunately there's bog all we can do about it so we have to stop worrying about it. Give your little ones a big hug and lets all be thankful for what we DO have. (sorry not meant to sound like a lecture- just my feelings)
Lilme - great news on the haircut. Sometimes you have to change because of the expense. I remember going to a fantastic guy best for easily 50 miles but I was paying him £75 for a cut and highlights TEN years ago  only pay £22.50 for a cut now with a brill chap but as hairs so short not worth having highlights now!
Right kids are way too quiet and have been for too long, so best go and check up on them and get some of todays list done and see whats on for tomorrow - maybe get a headstart
Oh and computer is Sooooo slow and McAfee found a trojan so looks like could be some problems in store
CONGRATULATIONS MICHELLE AND FAMILY
and Happy Birthday LubylouMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
