Mine LOVE cabbage.. they can have that.. they can't have apple though it burns their mouth.
I clean mine out every few days, defintiely no more than 3 though or they honk.. or more often.. basically when they stink lol.. I'm lazy.
They love cauliflower leaves.. cabbage .. carrots (obviously).. peapods.. dandelions.. if you have any in the gardens.. munched!.. strawberry.. some like it some don't.. corn on the cob.. broccoli is loved too.. banana slices, parsley, watercress, mint, cilantro, frisee, radish tops, alfalfa sprouts, kale (occasionally), bok choy, celery, chicory, collard greens, green leaf and romaine lettuce (no head lettuce!!), pea pods (flat), tiny amounts of unsweetened cereals (mine like weetabix!), and bits of bread are some of the additional food items that are acceptable for a rabbit to eat. Fruit should be limited to one tablespoon per day.
They don't like parsnips and shouldn't have apple, lettuce. cucumber, tomato, potato.
When I am doing a big dinner I cut the leafy bowl off the cauli carefully and fill it with the peelings and give them it as a huge treat.. they love it..
Oooh... sometimes I go outside with my scissors and cut them some fresh grass.. not mown grass though as it has dirt from the mower!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Lots of washing (again)

S&S bathroom - the loo is alive!

DS1 getting changed, DS2 going to bed after his tantrum about how his ice cream was cracked at the bottom (so was ours)Will change his but and clean him first. But oh my poor clean sofas are covered in ice cream again!
Happy Birthday Louby-lou!
G&B. If I may... hemhem... pick out the wet stuff daily and deep cleaning once a week is fine. Is it an indoor bunny or an outdoor bunny? As she gets older she will pick her pee corner and it's easier to keep clean.
No ice berg letuce for bunnies at all or potaoes (unless it's got the runs or constipated!), cabbage is fine. No grass till about 14 weeks, and then introduce slowly. Veggies again, introduce slowly, especially greens and fruit. Pick dandelion leaves, they all love em!
No grass for 2 days after it has been cut (it gets very rich in those 2 days).
When she is fully grown her diet should be one third pellet (or mix) food, one third hay and one third fresh food (mostly carrot, cabbage, broccolli. Spinache, fruit etc as treats)0 -
Happy Birthday Luby Lou

Afternoon all
Tracey how did you get on with LO at the GP?
Loby Lou Happy Birthday to you
Rabbit talk reminds me of when we had the school guinea pigs. We gave them purple sprouting brocolli and it turned their wee red - I thought they were on their way out!
Need to quickly update my list, collect DS3 from a neighbour, take DS2 to athletics and then on to swimming with DS3.
Be back for tea time! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
also have cleaned out toaster and washed outside of kettle."The purpose of Life is to spread and create Happiness" :j0

My apologies Tia, didnt realise you had rabbits too:o She seems really clean, and she seems to have picked her corner already.
Its an indoor bunny. When we buy a new house she will be an outdoor bunny. Gave her some apple earlier and she was fine with it, she has lots of hay and a bowl of mix food. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Happy Birthday luby-lou! Hope you have a nice day!
Thanks lil_me for the warranty info - you're right, I didn't think of it that way!
pigpen - Feeling your 'finding money' pain. I checked our account for the first time in 4 weeks and found what I knew I would. No money and it's only the 6th May. I have got to stop spending on ridiculous things that we don't need. Think I might put it on my list. (Hugs) anyway.
Ok so - onto lovely things. I have finished end of year stuff and even though I have to spend the rest of the week opening up accounts for the 2008-09 financial year, at least I'm part of the way there! Really looking forward to going home and spending some time in the sunshine.
OH has phoned to say he's sunburnt - after I told him to make sure he put some on, then he lied and said he did, and now he says he didn't and wants sympathy. Well you're not getting any from me sunshine! (No pun intended)
Hope Michelle is ok!
Off to print my list that I did earlier. Ash xxOfficial DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0
