Doesnt look like this will go through at the price .....Do any of these ever go through??
I've had a PC from Dell with a 15" flat panel screen for £150... four Star Trek Voyager box sets from MVC for £12.99 each (should have been £89.99 each)... a Sagem mobile phone worth £95 with a free Hifi as well (can't recall exactly how much I paid but it was something like £25) from Woolies... a free DVD player from Amazon (only paid postage)... and a load of others.

So it is worth trying. Many of these misprices get knocked back, but you really have nothing to lose... and when they do honour it, it's a real buzz!

I got an email with a grand total of £9.11.

What steps can I take if I am charged more than this without my consent?

According to their T&C they will notify you within 24hrs of any price change so you can accept or cancel the order. I doubt it will even get to that stage though as no one, as far as I'm aware, has had their order even confirmed yet ;)

Wait until you see whether or not you receive the item, or you get a letter saying you won't be receiving it. Then, if you have received the item, let them know that the agreed price was £9.11, and you have the email - if they have charged you more, they are obliged to refund you as you did not authorise it. If they mess you about, you can get your credit card company to do a chargeback, as you have proof of the price - they will refund you and reclaim the funds from Misco. If you have to resort to this, then you should also inform Trading Standards.

We are currently checking that your order remains available at the price(s) advertised on this website when you placed your order. • wonder what qualifies as a business day in Misco's books, they're an online business so therefore they are open 7days a week? or more likely is it Monday?

I have a small hunch that they may just cancel the orders and forget about it. Usually when a mistake has occured the company involved in faster off the ball that this....in sending cancellation emails that is.

All quiet on the western front here.

01772 is Preston (Lancashire), and Misco is based in Wellingborough (Northants)... so probably not them.
