I think it's better to keep all the liquidation offers you spot in one thread so there is a single point of reference for the best deals currently available at Misco :)

  • anyone else noticed that on the front page, it advertises a sata 250gig external hdd for £90.46 ?

    510295.gif

I know this has been pointed out in another post, but looks like a mistake in the advertising to me. if you click the link it takes you to the product description where it describes it as a ata100 and not a sata drive!

"Store your photo's , music and much more
Seagate 250GB Hard Disk Drive with Enclosure

    • Seagate 250Gb, 7200RPM, SATA Hard Drive
    • Compact external HDD enclosure with advanced cooling fan system
    • IDE to USB 2.0 and Firewire - supports most 3.5" HDD"

actual product desciption is "Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 - hard drive - 250 GB - ATA-100"

bargin if we could get the sata version ;) LOL
  • surely its a mistake?

  • !!!!!!, just went and looked and it's showing up as £250 odd.

    My luck.
  • I ordered a graphics card but I'm curious, has anyone received their goods?

There disclaimer "This email is confirmation that we have received your order. It does not constitute contractual acceptance of the order you have placed. We are currently checking that your order remains available at the price(s) advertised on this website when you placed your order. If the price or availability has changed we will notify you by e-mail or telephone within 1 business working day of receipt of this e-mail."

Got me a little worried, I'm now expecting an email in the next day or so saying the price has gone up by a few quid.

    Here's hoping.

Hmmm on the first page of that it said it's PCI-E.... but on the detail page it said AGP. Wonder which it is...

anyway it now comes up "Sorry, we unable to find any details on this product" so it looks like they've either spotted it, or they're out of stock. Someone probably ordered 100 of them and blew everyone else's chances...

Hopefully its AGP (she says keeping her fingers crossed). This would really get me out of a hole if it comes off. I did select next day delivery....just in case, so with any luck I should get some sort of notification today.
