Thanks for the heads-up

My previous experiences of Misco's liquidation "deals" are rather disappointing, as they tend to have very low stocks of items and they don't update the site when sold out until days later.0 -

Yeah, I think it's strange that they describe it as a liquidation sale as it definitely sends out the wrong signals and implies that they are about to go bust, which is likely to put a lot of people off. In fact, they just claim to have an excess of certain lines of stock so they are heavily discounting them in order to shift ("liquidate") them.

Just to let you know I ordered £48+VAT worth of stuff in the liquidation sale, and the postage was £5.00 fair enough not too bad but just as I was about to finalise the sale I noticed they wanted another £20+VAT handling charge0

I've put various pieces in my basket and upon trying to checkout, I don't get a handling charge
Subtotal £48.91 ex VAT
Delivery (3 day) £5.00 ex VAT
Handling Charge (Basket Weight: 1.66kg) £0.00 ex VAT
VAT £9.44
Maybe your goods are very heavy???0 -

Teehee, it would seem so! I don't know how people manage using multiple forums, it takes me all my time just reading the Grabbits! :rolleyes:0 -

Well I only look on here and rpoints in terms of money saving - (I dread to think how many other forums I actually regularly use!)
Whatever is posted on rpoints is often originally from here though, or vice versa!0
