Hopefully its AGP (she says keeping her fingers crossed). This would really get me out of a hole if it comes off. I did select next day delivery....just in case, so with any luck I should get some sort of notification today.
I selected next day delivery too. But I'm hoping it's PCI-E! If not, I'll have to put it on eBay... my 2nd PC is AGP but I don't really use it for gaming any more since I got my new gaming PC.

Even at that price, it's still a bargain. But they certainly shouldn't charge you more than you authorised, they should contact you if the price has changed. I paid via PayPal so they can't charge my card any more than the order price :D

EDIT: Don't complain yet - wait until they deliver the card - that way, you have leverage. Otherwise they'll say sorry and refund you and not send anything out. If you have the card and they charged more than authorised, you're entitled to get your money back.

Had a look on Ebuyer and I can only find an AGP card of that breed.

They'd better not charge me £79! How many emails have you had? So far I've only had the acknowledgement email and that has the correct price on it. Mind you I'm going to keep a close eye on my credit card now.

Misco are selling this Mp3 for £23.49 as part of their liquidated stock don't know anything about the product personally but it looks like a bargain to me (if you are not worried about brand names)

f1stfull...here's your arguement if they have charged you more than you agreed to...and its from their own Ts&Cs too:

3.2The Seller reserves the right to revise prices prior to despatch of Goods to reflect any indirect or direct increase in costs to the Seller but if the price has been paid in full prior to despatch no price revision may take place without the prior written agreement of the Buyer.

Are you sure it's actually them that have charged you this much or could you have other outstanding charges waiting to be authorised too? All my accounts just give me a total amount waiting to be authorised and can't show individual transactions until they've actually gone through. Even the bank or credit card company can't tell you who has requested what until it is authorised (2-3 days).

They can't charge you more than agreed without notifying you beforehand and this is an excerpt from the order confirmation email:

This email is confirmation that we have received your order. It does not constitute contractual acceptance of the order you have placed. We are currently checking that your order remains available at the price(s) advertised on this website when you placed your order. If the price or availability has changed we will notify you by e-mail or telephone within 1 business working day of receipt of this e-mail.

  • I ordered 1 and then checked back and couldn't find the details again.
