Sorry, but have I missed something?

Riq doesn't have confidence in the police and suddenly he's branded a criminal?

I don't have confidence in the police either. I don't trust them. Does that mean I'm not law abiding then? By your logic, am I like Riq? Are you going to brand me a criminal?

I thought they were all called 'Parent and Child' spaces? I've never seen Mother and Child ones.

I think the more PC we get, the less Mother and Child spaces we see, as they're replaced by Parent and Child.

Just like "!!!!!!" was considered un-PC, so was replaced with "handicapped", which was then also considered un-PC and so was later replaced with "disabled", but that's also not PC enough, and so replaced with "special needs".

Police don't steal money handed in, and that's that. Being so paranoid and untrusting is just silly.

My 15yo son handed in a fiver he saw a couple of girls had left in the self service tills at Tesco. We ran to the carpark to tell them their fiver had been handed in but they'd already gone. I doubt they ever saw their £5 again, and the money has gone into Tesco's overflowing coffers - but i'm still glad that my son handed it in.

If anything is handed in to the police and a reward requested you are entitled to 10% of the value. If the item is not claimed you can claim the property back.

People like you are precisely the reason why we all need to bolt our back doors.

why just for saying he would keep money if found in the street  that doesn't make him a criminal, it certainly doesn't mean he would break in anywhere.

do u really think that if u hand a fiver in at tescos or asda it goes to who lost it:confused:

anyone can see you hand it in and then go claim its theirs.

Yes it does make them a criminal. It is THEFT.

You should hand it in to the police then after so many days you get to claim it for yourself. Then at least you have done the right thing.
The precise reason we have to be careful these days as people think they can help themselves to anything they want.
