Hi everyone thought i would just update you on how everythings going in my world.
Well ive got some stuff on ebay which in total is going for £8.50 at the moment but it does still have 4 days left so im hoping for a bit more to come! Ive also been going round the house collecting stuff for the next time i shove a load on there so got a bag full for next time!! All the money will be going towards my littlewoods account which has the highest interest and is the next debt im attacking
Ive been on quidco quite a lot and have £140 from various things on there i have to wait a while until they pay out in june but that will all be going towards my total. :j
Ive just been reading all the messages about the old phones, i think i might give it a go next month when i have a bit of money to play around with.
I am also the hugest magazine fan ~ i have a big thing about new magazines and keeping the pages straight ~ sad i know  my OH says ive got a magazine obsessive compulsive disorder  anyway ive been thinking about getting a subscription (if its a good deal and i can get cashback) to save some money.

Hi Shopoholic,
blimey you've been doing well! hopefully your ebay auctions will shoot up over the next 4 days and you have more stuff as well -brill!
ive got about 200 quid to come from quidco which is great, quite a long wait but hey its free money i dont mind waiting for it!
Know what you mean about wasted money, i really begrudge buying anything now (think ive got no spend ocd) just think though before lbm you would have prob just stuck the repairs on the credit card and be paying it off for the next 10 years!
well done on the packed lunch! suprising how much money just doing that saves.
i'm pretty sure my sister got the subscription with her clubcard vouchers, you change them into clubcard deal vouchers or something? i don't usually shop at tescos unless they send me a free delivery voucher so not really sure
and no prob on the long post, i witter on for ages! you might have noticed..... lol0 -
Thanks, I have a tesco club card but only use it when i fill up with petrol as i dont shop there so i doubt i will have enough points but i will look into it. I have seen some cheap subscriptions on the internet it would be good if i could go through quidco or similar as well though.
Well back to the money making will update as and when

I counted up my penny jar last night (1ps, 2ps, 5ps, 10ps, 20ps and a couple of 50ps!) as it was right to the top.
I must say i was very proud of myself as i have had that jar years and it never really moved from 1/2 way full, but over the past 3 months or so i have put pretty much all my change in it.
And i have a grand total of: £37.00 bagged up and ready to go into the bank! And the extra (that cant be bagged up yet) is: £15.29 so a grand total of £52.29!!! :j Although im only counting the £37 at the moment, but im dead chuffed with myself!

Amy ~ Well done on the change jar
! I was reading a thread on the MFW board about "Mortgage Pigs" which I think are a v good idea ... making saving up change easier / more personalised. When I have a bit of spare cash I may get one too!
MM ~ Thanks, I'll look into freezing sandwiches, that's a good idea! I'm not too fussy with my food so yes sliced ham is fine, I wonder if you can freeze chicken / cheese / other things thou?! Might have a look on the OS board for some more tips too...
In general today has been expensive as I went to see the psych, and also bought some bread / apple turnovers / choc from the garage ... just to cheer myself up really as I left the psych's feeling sad/angry and very small (not her fault mind you, just talking about stuff from the past, brings me right down). I know it's the right thing to do to keep seeing her, it's just difficult. I feel completely drained now, I'm supposed to be working from home but I'm lying on the couch on MSE & just keeping half an eye on my work emails in case there's anything urgent. I guess this will get easier in time??
Grr. Want rid of all the stuff weighing me down and stopping me being free ... debts, emotional "baggage", fear, anger, blah blah blah. I'm just so tired of it all.I think I need a holiday from my own head lol.

Hi Jenna
I bought a jar (think its a pasta one!) from Ikea years ago, and i use that for my change. I was tempted to buy a pretty one, but to be honest that is more money down the drain for me! So im proud i didnt get one!It really does help when you see how much money you put in. I couldnt believe it held over £50! And to think i have £40 in £2's in another jar, that isnt even slightly full up!
Re: the psych, deffo keep seeing her. you need to work through all the bad stuff to make you feel better. I saw one when i was 17/18 for a year. I should of carried it on, but didnt, but the during the time i was there i felt worse at the beginning, but then began to feel tons better. What i meant to say in that rambling is give yourself time, and dont beat yourself up!

Thanks babe for the support
, the not beating up on myself is easier said than done thou! I feel rubbish ... then rubbish about feeling rubbish ... I could go on! lol. Sad I know. But yeah. I'm trying to give it time and it is only the 3rd time I've seen her so I suppose it will be a few weeks yet!!
Went on Pigsback today ... got £17 ish in there now ... and once again, no 5p clicks! I entered the comps etc but doubt I'll win lol. But it will be a good voucher towards Xmas when I can claim.
By the way, does anyone do the daily clicks/surveys? I don't really understand how it's done ... (MM - I did look on the Up Your Income board but got a bit confused!).
Oh and chased my P45 again from my old agency (I'm a contractor and switched agencies at the start of April). Still nothing from them and I'm getting £25 ish less p/wk - eek!! I think they've given me the wrong tax code - the one that means I don't get a tax-free personal allowance (which I should get). So - wait and see!! But it tries my patience - I left the agency 6 weeks ago now - I don't understand how they can delay that long!!
Ho hum. Baby steps.
