lol-should be easy to spot then-daft cat :-)
am so happy you are feeling good, last week was sooo pants! i know what you mean about needing time out, sometimes i do feel under a bit of pressure coz i started this challenge and i feel should be not spending and sorta setting an example? But then on more positive days its a good thing that i feel like that coz it gives me more incentive to be 'good'
posted 2 ebay items this morning, waitning for a cheque from one buyer and payment from another. as long as they both pay i should be left with about £20 so that covers the cost of my scrapbooking which is what i was hoping for-yay!

    He certainly is daft!!

I was fretting about spending the money on my tattoo. Its a lot of money but then again I havent spent out this year on anything really, and its for my birthday ;) Its hard because i feel i should be putting every penny to being debt free, but then i think thats not really a life. So as of next payday me and my sister are going out for lunch/ to the cinema/ dinner once a week. Its our bit of "fun". Shouldnt be more than £10, which in the grand scheme of things is worth it. :D

Well done on your sales etc. brilliant that it pays for your scrapbooking. :T

I was offered a job at my local pub the other day. I used to work there from 18 on and off for 4/5 years. At one point i was working in London during the day (as I am now) then straight off train in the evening to the pub, doing a shift there every week night from 7pm - 1am, then home and bed etc. I did that for nearly a year. Flippin knackering.

I was thinking of maybe doing 2 nights a week. Its cash in hand shhhhh... so would be around £40-60 extra a week. That could be my "food/living" money which would mean I wouldnt need to take any money out of my bank. Im not sure what to do really. Even if i only did it for a few months it would be worth it.

Yeah-i'm the same, just waiting for quidco and moneyback madness. Nothing left to sell, which actually im quite glad about coz it is a pain in the bum selling on ebay! Just concentrating on survey sites at the moment trying to get vouchers for xmas presents. Need a £15 argos voucher, should have enough points for ten pounds worth on my nectar card by then ,but if i can get a voucher without using them thats even better. Apart from that need a tenner bon marche voucher but i dont think any sites do them and then about £25 cash for extras. If i get mbm money that should cover all that.

Thats a good idea Amy, definately do that with your sister, a tenner is nothing compared to what you could spend if you dont do anything for ages and then blow loads on a big night out/shopping spree.
Pub job sounds good but be carefull you dont burn yourself out, perhaps do it on a trial basis and see how you cope? would definately take some money pressure off though so might balance out the stress?

Thats what im thinking (with the pub job). I have always done it, but i know that I couldnt do more than 3 nights a week as i would be so tired. Think i may speak to the Landlord on one of my days off and have a chat. Worth a shot eh?

Me and my sis are hoping to see the new batman film this weekend, I have 2 free cinema tickets left so we are going to try and see it early on Sunday morning. :D

I love free cinema! Last time we went we filled my rather large handbag (that my sister made fun of at first until she realised what she could fit in it!) with sweets and drinks! :D Very MSE!

I have no idea... i think its probably nearer the 2000 mark?? :o

    lol-thats a brilliant idea :-)
urgh 2000 that could take a while..or a couple of weeks anyway lol, will have to see what happens when u get to 1500.
Been having my usual lurk on the autotrader website looking at MINIs ive got a feeling that im going to find saving harder than paying of my debt, at least when u are paying of money-once you have paid it thats it, you cant get at it. with savings the temptations always there. am wondering whether i should open an account that you have to give notice on to put half my savings into(obviously when i have paid off my debt-not much point putting 2 quid in a new account lol). Any ideas? i'm a bit clueless on savings coz ive never had any!

Oooo i didnt realise i was that close... must... post... more! ;)

Hmmm im not sure on savings, but i would think it would be best to find an account that as you say, is not instant access.

I deffo think thats what I will need to do, as its far too tempting to just dip into it.
