know what u mean jen- I'm pretty much wishing time away til November and debt free day . Only 3 days into july and I can't wait til payday. I am pretty much sorted to be df in November with not a vast amount of extra money, about £25 a month extra should do it which I am planning to save out of my monthly spends. If I get some more jewellery sales I will be sorted no prob. So now really its just waiting and saving a bit for the rest of Xmas presents.

Awwww thanks Hayley. You made me smile.

I think i need to be a little bit less hard on myself otherwise i could just give up. I think £20 a week would be ok for food for me, and then £10 maybe for "whatever" takes my fancy. If i spend it i do, if i dont, i dont. Then £17 a week for the cats (not including insurance) as thats already taken into account. So £47 a week. I have budgeted myself £35 a week, so it wont be too much extra to find, so wont affect my debts as much as i first thought.

Im feeling better now... again sorry for above ramblings!

    Hiya Jen

Unfortnuately i cant really cut their food down. They have smart price chicken (they have this as Dylan had a major problem with his tummy when he was a baby and he has had this ever since!). This is what costs £37 a month!

Im going to the vet with them for their boosters on Monday so may have a chat with the vet to see what else i can give them, or if there is something i can substitute it for.

you can do it amy don't give up you have come so far... sometimes i feel like going and spending loads i get bored of dfw sometime but i know how quick i could spend a fortune and how long it would take to replace it them i look around a the wii which i just though sod it and bough complete waste of money!!!! and i go back to saving

when i work up this morning i though i had a dream that the tax office said they owed me loads of money... the i decided i did phone them and decided they must have been winding me up so i don;t think i will get a cheque for £1,000 but if i do i might take out £100 and save the rest right away and forget about it.... after all if i didn't have it i wouldn't spend it.

mm- i will work out how on track for october i am! and how much extra i need a month

amy ask him if they can have tuna as that works out much cheaper than chicken if they had tuna twice a week it would save a bit. what do they have with the chicken?

amy- you can ramble as much as you want, thats what we are here for!

Im sure you will get your cheque jen but I can understand how you might feel its too good to be true. Try not to worry I'm sure it will turn up.
Hmmm October, wonder if I can do it by then instead.... No- coz I'll need an extra £350!!

Jen, they have chicken with a bit of rice. Tuna is ok every now and again but it gives them a dodgy tummy if they eat too much of it. Same with cat food, they have a little bit of that sometimes, but more than once in a week and its bad news.

Im deffo going to speak to a vet, maybe a dried complete food with occasional chicken might be the way forward. we shall see.

13 ish weeks till start of october...

    payment are now £20 a week x 13 = £260

    i owe £625 - 260 = £365 needed

    365 divided 13 weeks = £28.08 a week not using any saving!

so if i pay my quidco of my debt i will need £263 divided 13 weeks= £20.24 a week

    I CAN DO IT !!!!!!
looking forward to debt free start of oct.

    then saving..................????????????
