Hi Jen
Glad your dog is better. I dont think a complaint letter would do you any good as its a consultation fee and every vet charges it, whether you are there 2 seconds or 20 minutes.

Afternoon all,
Amy – I’m having a very busy day at work, its nearly home time though. How’s your day been?? Having fun with your new phone? I’ve now decided I may get the new iphone that’s due out soon, but will need to check how much it will cost me extra when I upgrade, probably silly amounts so I will probably just leave it.
Jen – yes I’m now thepinklady :j0 -
hi jen glad your dog is better , shame about the cost tho :-(
Just been lookng at the savings thread and am very confused , they all sound like mathmatical genius on there! Think I will just stick to the savings account linked to my current account or open an ISA .0 -
hayley- the iPhone is good for certain things like Internet and music but if you want a decent camera forget it its pants and for some strange reason it doesn't send or recieve pic messages, and if u do a lot if texting its not great coz u need two hands to hold the phone and use keypad, bit of a nightmare when out in town etc. Just to give you the pros and cons!0

Thanks everyone... When I was looking at the ways to pay the credit card off earlier I noticed that it said you could do it using your own banks internet banking three working days before it is due. I believe that means today was the last day so I ended up doing that. I'm (running theme) a bit paranoid that they payment won't reach them in time but in reality it probably will. I should have probably read the plethora of ways to pay before calling them. I still think their rule is stupid though :P.
I ended up spending about three hours walking today so I have absolutely no energy, but I am the proud new owner of a pair of hair straighteners. I'll try them out later when I have the energy to do so.. I'm quite happy that lovefilm and mysupermarket have been tracked/validated on quidco. I'm still planning to cancel lovefilm after the first payment has been taken to get my £16. I have to say I don't actually like the way lovefilm works anyway, do you actually need to have 10 films on your list before they send you any? I only have two that I really want so I don't want to add another 8 and get ones I don't want sent out.
Jen, you should definately see if you are covered by your pet insurance, sadly even short consultations are expensive. The only time I haven't been charged by a vet was when my hamsters got put to sleep.. Hamsters shouldn't be allowed near me, bad things happen

evening all back for the swim run and still !!!!ed off about the amount the vet cost!!
dd has made her half brother a 18th birthday card so that saved £3 at least.
i got him a pressy for his 18th when he was about 12 years old it has been upstairs in the cupboards! so that saved me about £40. i got him a coin set from his year of birth 1990! was a great idea! so i have saved a small fortune!:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart
