    Afternoon everyone :)

I'm currently being driven up the wall by Barclaycard... I'm trying to pay the remainder of the bill of this month (money my sister owes me after she used my card to pay for her M.E. treatment) but their website won't let me. I called them to try and do it over the phone but was told I had nothing left to pay off (which is rubbish). What they actually meant was that I'd paid off the minimum payment already, I told them this and they said because I'd already made a payment they coudn't accept the one I wanted to make over the phone. I was told to send a cheque but this is pointless as it wouldn't arrive in time and I'd still be charged interest. After that I got a bit irritated and told the woman that I have the money there, I want to give it to them but they won't let me and are going to charge me interest because of it. She said she would freeze interest for this month but I'm not convinced that will happen. What I'm more concerned about is having it paid off in full on time which I do every month, because even though I'm in a lot of debt I think my credit rating is still quite good (and would like it to stay this way).

I want to scream! Anyway, sorry about that rant.. I should really be getting ready for the doctors. I need to go to the post office before I go there and I'm going to walk into town to get my straighteners... which I need to pay for on my barclaycard to make sure I have enough in my current account to pay my sisters bit off of my card if it's possible to do it *rolls eyes*

Nicki, couldn't you make a payment in a barclays branch? and refuse to leave til they let you pay the amount you want to pay off or something?

Thanks for the suggestion cath, I did actually think I was too late to pay at a branch but it looks like the last working day is today. As I'm going into town later I'll take my cheque book and see what I can get done. It says the bank might charge me so if my own bank do charge I'll go to Barclays and scream blue murder until something happens.

Will let you know how I get on later :)
